The pack’s compound was quiet, a calm that felt deceptively serene. The crescent moon symbol, etched into the wooden beams above the main entrance, glinted in the early morning light as Isla stood just inside the gates. Her pulse raced, each heartbeat echoing in her ears as she took in the scene before her. This was Luca’s world. A world she now shared, for better or worse.

The river flowed towards the sea, tall trees stood on the side and the moon was hanging up in the sky. "This is a nice place," she took a sip from the bottle. "And the moon is beautiful. I don't think I've ever looked at the moon this closely before. Those dark spots are the craters in the moon, did you know?" "No, that's Jack and Jill who went up there to fetch a pail of water... See, they splashed the water though," he pointed and Jacques Laughed. "It looks that way, isn't it?" "I am glad you like this place, Jerlina," he kissed her forehead.

As Apollo and Jolene stand outside the gates to the moon, their hands entwined in a silent vow of solidarity, a sense of peace washes over them. The chaos and turmoil that once threatened to consume their world have finally subsided, replaced by a newfound tranquility that permeates the air. With the threat of darkness vanquished, the moon stands as a beacon of hope in the night sky, its gentle glow casting a comforting light upon the world below. It serves as a reminder of the resilience of the human spirit and the enduring power of love and unity.

Sheila bit her lips, as she knew how dangerous it would be for everyone. “We need to save her.”

Alpha Andrea finally answered even with Fiona's intent to intrude, I smirked behind my puffy face from the food I was trying hard to masticate. "Oh I see, that is perfect timing, the season of the Moon Goddess, blessing the Aloha and his Luna, we could have what such auspicious date, but we're so engrossed in each other that as a common Gemma and Omega we choose a normal day." Matt let out his hand scrolling through his phone and Alpha Andrea's eyes were red, and the redness I could see calming to purple anytime soon.

She smiled softly as the door opened andJoel offered her his hand to get out.

A smile curved on Irma’s lips as she watched her child staring at the moon with so much fascination in her eyes.
