The Alpha's World Claimed Me

The Alpha's World Claimed Me

Back in the physical world, Novel’s body collapsed beside Kitty, as he coughed up a splash of blood before slipping into complete unconsciousness. Inside his mind, Alexei faced the dark, monstrous shadow of the Myth standing before him. “You can’t use me for your revenge!” Alexei roared, charging the beast with everything he had. “My mate isn't dead! Give me back my body!” With a final, desperate strike, Alexei slammed into the dark entity, and darkness took him completely. _____ One Year Later It was Novel’s university graduation day. She stood near the podium in her cap and gown, a bright smile on her face as she chatted and snapped photos with her classmates, completely oblivious to the f

Junior No. A082

Eric and Benjamin bend down to pick Mew to stand. "Seriously Con? Can’t you hold yourself"? Benjamin huffed pulling his hand towel to wipe the blood of his lips. Conrad just looked at the door where Noah had left and shook his head. It’s gonna be a tough journey, he knew. "Let’s go guys. We have to check our dorms and then lunch". He held his bag-pack and the friends left the hall. *********** The dorms were clean and comfortable. A clear proof that spoke comfort and lavish to the students because surely the University screamed richness. The students who studies here were the cream of the country. Not only from city, but students from all big cities and big fat families dream to study here.

he said, disappearing into the bathroom. “Just make sure I get an invite to the wedding!” he shouted back, laughing. — The next morning, I woke up early. Paul gave me a sandwich for breakfast, and I left for the university well ahead of time. The campus looked nothing like my school from last year. It was a cluster of rustic old buildings that blended into the city rather than standing apart from it. Over the years, more buildings had sprung up nearby, though not all were officially part of the university. Across the street from the main building’s parking lot—where I parked—stood a row of office buildings with their own lots.

FALLEN: HIS ALONE

FALLEN: HIS ALONE

One ended up dying because he was a fucking drunkard, while the other damn one ran away like a stupid loser, and accused me of being the murderer (How wonderful), and trust me, I was kinda grateful for it, cause I would actually be put behind bars, like what I freaking wanted, cause I wanted to leave this hellhole university cause I have no damn interest in graduating, but no, the damn housemaster just had to defend me like an angel, and refuse to let me go, my inner demons tells me he did that out of pity, but I want no fucking person's pity. Anyway and on the bright side, even though the fucking housemaster defended me, save my ass, and made the case die down, still every useless beings st

Forbidden Thirst (Crimson Shadows Book #1)

Forbidden Thirst (Crimson Shadows Book #1)

Perhaps I can find some newspapers that write about the tragedy, as it happened only a few weeks ago. As I get to the library, I am surprised by the vastness of the room. The high ceilings and the solid wood shelves give the place an elegant and studious atmosphere. I am in a university that is obviously very attached to its reputation. I guess that the disappearance of one of its students isn't good for its image. I search through the aisles quickly but I find only academic publications. And at the same time, where should I look? I doubt there's a shelf dedicated to Bathory's.

All I Want Is My Lecturer.

All I Want Is My Lecturer.

And Ryan drove us in. The university was a vibrant and creative space, where students could explore their artistic passions and learn about the latest technology and that was what drew me into writing their scholarship exam in the first place. The university had cutting-edge facilities, like a digital media lab and an art studio with the latest equipment installed in different parts of the compound. The campus was located in a bustling area, surrounded by museums, galleries, and other creative spaces. The atmosphere was kinda lively and energetic, with students buzzing around the compound as they moved in different directions and the fact that every student was the same, no discrimination, w

Teacher's Pet

Teacher's Pet

Chapter 28: Make-up S*x “…many jobs that he held during the middle ages were page, soldier, messenger, valet, foreman, administrator... these helped him meet new people and explore different ideas that helped him write the Tales...” “Oh, god!” I muttered under my breath, bored out of my mind, and fighting a losing battle with sleep with every single second that passed. First day of class in University and I was about to drop dead. Why you asked? Because right now I was hundreds of miles away from my boyfriend, in The University of New Brunswick, studying Creative Writing, while Ethan was still teaching chemistry at Clearwater High, Clearwater, Idaho.

Very much enjoyed this story! Great dialogue, characters & storyline. Did not drag out with ridiculous plot twist or misogynistic action against the female lead. Plot was whimsical, but nicely done. No excessive, but stupid chapters. Kudos to a job well done! Thanks!

I couldn’t put this book down and read it in a day. It was compelling, the characters were well written, and I loved the FL (by the end). Absolutely deserving of 5 stars!! I’m going to read more by this author, for sure!!

A Second Life Inside My Novels

A Second Life Inside My Novels

For the first time, Cathedra had someone who didn't cringe every time she opened her mouth to speak. So this is what having a friend feels like, huh? Cathedra thought to herself. One lunch break, while waiting for Diane underneath the tree, Cathedra was scribbling a draft of her first novel in her notebook. The novel contained the scenes she saw in the storybook, back in her kindergarten days. Since that day at kindergarten, she didn't tell anyone what she saw in the storybooks anymore. The thought of seeing things that other people couldn't still terrified her but she tried hard not to think about it by avoiding any book she can see other than school books and textbooks.

Frequently Asked Questions

I’ve stumbled upon a goldmine of authors who capture the chaotic, transformative mess of university life perfectly. John Williams’ 'Stoner' is a quiet masterpiece—it follows a professor’s unglamorous but deeply human career, and it’s so raw it feels like eavesdropping on a real academic’s diary. Then there’s Donna Tartt’s 'The Secret History,' which mixes pretentious classics majors with murder, and it’s *chef’s kiss* for drama lovers.

For a lighter take, Rainbow Rowell’s 'Fangirl' nails the awkwardness of freshman year, fanfiction obsessions, and finding your tribe. If you want something with more bite, Zadie Smith’s 'On Beauty' tackles race, politics, and infidelity in a university town, and her wit cuts deeper than a thesis deadline. These authors don’t just write about uni—they make you *feel* the lecture halls, the caffeine crashes, and the existential crises.
