The only sound you could hear wear their chants and the birds chirping. The leader of the group stood in the middle. She was in her early forties. She stood in the circle with her long black robe with thorns on it. There was a crown of daffodils flowers on her head and she stood in the circle holding a white lamp which was tied by the legs. She slaughtered the lamb at the neck as they chanted aloud. She took a calabash and allowed the blood from the lamb to pour inside. She inhaled deeply and dipped her finger inside the blood and put it in her mouth. She began to chant louder than others and knelt on the ground whipping her hair and rolling her eyes as if controlled by someone else.

There was one symbol on the door that looked like it was supposed to be a crescent moon. “It’s a riddle,” I said. “It’s a bunch of symbols.” “You think so?” Trent asked. I nodded. “I just… don’t remember the words very clearly, but it was about… It was a poem about the moon or something like that.” Trent scoffed. “The moon goddess?” “No,” I shook my head. “The moon itself.” I still wasn’t sure if my father ever believed in the moon goddess the way that most werewolves did. He never taught me much about her, so all I ever knew about her was what was in the Council archives.

Marcus joked along and we all laughed. I looked at Wyatt and Zen and turned back my focus on the three wolves, "The lesser powerful a potion made from a moonflower that is rare to find and only a few know how it looks and what is exactly used from the flower for the potion." I said, making Tanner clap his hands and point a finger at Logan and Marcus, "See I was right!" We all laughed at his enthusiasm. I continued, “The second one grants better results as it is obvious from our week experiment.”

Theodore Watcher was one of the bravest and best vampire hunters according to legend.” “Then how come I’ve never heard of him in the legends!?” Liam scoffed. “Hell, it would have been pretty nice to know where I came from!” “Well, you came from me,” his mother snickered. “I remember that vividly. It was quite a day.” Liam rolled his eyes again as his mother added the berries to her granola. She stirred them in, chuckling the entire time. “Honey, I don’t see why you’re making this such a big deal. It’s just a silly legend, after all.”

I wait til I hear feel the cold air drifting into the kitchen and the soft sound of a door closing before glancing into the hallway again. Through the doors glass I could see Embers back to me. The left side of her body was eliminated white from the moon and her hair looked like silver threads as they hung down her back. Creeping towards the door she shifts and a second later a see a silvery gold wolf dashing across the snow, her body low as she ran.

Moon: Ma knock before you come in. Maria giggled and replied. Maria: You can spend a whole night in a girl's bedroom but you're embarrassed with your mother while you're just half naked. Moon embarrassed looks were now replaced with a shock as he asked his mother. Moon: How do you know ma, that I was with her. Maria: I know you Moon. I know the way your eyes shine every time you see her. How are things now between you both? Moon: It's been good ma. She's so cute. She blush even when I cup her face.

"It says the timing has to be precise now, with the seal weakening this fast." "Then let us not waste tonight being afraid of tomorrow," Sable said, drawing us all slightly closer together, her arm looping through mine on one side and reaching for Rhen's hand on the other. We stayed at the quarry's edge long into the night, and when I finally looked up, I saw the moon break briefly through the clouds, pale and ordinary, nothing like the red moon of legend at all, just an old familiar light doing exactly what it had always done. "Kieran," Rhen whispered, watching it, "do you think tomorrow's moon will look like that."

Silent. "There's only one moon on the ceiling. Did you notice?" Raina looks up towards the ceiling and I see her eyes catch the moon and the drawing there. She nods. "There's only one moon there." Then she looks at me "Should there have been more?"

I asked, turning to the other woman, who pulled down her hood. She was glowing a soft white, and her skin was the color of the moon, her eyes pitch black. She wore a thick silver crown that bore the different cycles of the moon. The full moon at the front of her head, “It’s been some time since I have seen you, child.” The woman’s voice was echoed, a mix between a man’s and a woman’s voice. “You’ve grown so much… I can’t wait to see you lead our people into the era of the light and out of the era of darkness.” “What do you mean? I’m dead?”

The waterfall just made it more exquisite. I had gone around these woods before, but I never realized that there was a beautiful spring here. “Do you remember when we were kids, there was this tale about Moon Goddess descended to the Earth on the night of the brightest Full Moon?” Elliott asked, almost with a whisper because he didn’t want to ruin the nature’s sound.
