Elena POV The chains around my wrists rattled with every jolt of the carriage. Iron cuffs bit into my skin, leaving bruises that would probably never fade. They weren’t silver, but I was still trapped. Shackled. The wooden floor shook beneath me as the horses dragged us closer to Crescent Blood Kingdom, the home of the quadruplet alphas. The kings. Meridian Water MOON CELEBRATION The first rays of sunlight filtered through the leaves, softly illuminating the room's interior. I have no issue with that but it will become an issue when Odette tries to act funny with me. I missed my brother when he left, but I knew it was something he had to do. We have to train every day, but tomorrow I get a day off because it is my birthday and my first shift. The men nodded and got to work while the others shifted into wolves and darted back into the woods to find their comrades who had been wounded by the beast. Moon's call approached his cottage which was close to a hill at the other side of a narrow stream flowing down into the river at one part of the forest. He walked across the board bridge he had made over the stream to get to his own side. Although he would have easily sprinted through the stream if he was in his wolf form but he didn't really fancy getting wet when he was in his human form.
