“Hold on for the moon. It will heal you.” As they finally reached the heart of the shadowed peaks, a hidden valley bathed in an eerie, ethereal light, the full moon hung like a luminous orb in the inky sky. And there, nestled amongst ancient, gnarled trees, were the moonpetal flowers, their petals glowing with an otherworldly luminescence.

He raised his head at Matt at the alarming question raised. "That should be this full moon." Alpha Andrea finally answered even with Fiona's intent to intrude, I smirked behind my puffy face from the food I was trying hard to masticate. "Oh I see, that is perfect timing, the season of the Moon Goddess, blessing the Aloha and his Luna, we could have what such auspicious date, but we're so engrossed in each other that as a common Gemma and Omega we choose a normal day." Matt let out his hand scrolling through his phone and Alpha Andrea's eyes were red, and the redness I could see calming to purple anytime soon.

It glowed under the moonlight like it had been kissed by the stars. “This is a Moonlight Drop,” she said softly. “These only fall when the moon kisses them goodnight. They hold power, especially for those tormented by dreams.”

“Excellent point! So then, how about dessert?” As we watch Sophie and Elliot cut their cake, I stop for a moment to admire the trellis. The morning glories are beautiful, and I didn’t realize before that Levi has woven some of his moonflowers in-between them. As it is twilight, both types of flowers remain open simultaneously, and it is a rare and exquisite sight. Finally, as the moon ascended, we reached the base of the tallest summit. When I gazed upwards, I spotted a sacred moonflower perched high on the cliff, emitting an intoxicating fragrance under the moonlight.

Serenity, I placed the bouquet of Moon flowers in the vase, staring at their beautiful yet dangerously addictive appearance. They were brighter and more layered than the ordinary Moon flowers that bloomed around the Moon Oracle or the mountains, petals glowing with an almost ethereal silver light, as if they carried secrets from the night sky itself. While studying their delicate veins, I heard footsteps behind me. “Serenity!” Levante walked into the living room, carrying a few more flowers fresh from the greenhouse. “Here.”

Inside, a single plant bloomed. It was beautiful in its own way. Delicate purple flowers clustered along its stems, their petals almost translucent in the sunlight that filtered through the wire mesh overhead. The color was a stunning, deep violet that faded to lavender at the edges. The smell was equally lovely, sweet and slightly intoxicating, like honey mixed with something floral and wild. But Autumn knew better than to let the beauty fool her. This was moonbane bloom. One of the most dangerous plants in existence.

I sigh, hopefully the moon Goddess has something good in store for me. I moved on to the dark green flowers I had uprooted from the forest and placed in a pot to keep them alive, they were known as the 'Dark slumber' flowers. They were beautiful as well as deadly if not handled carefully. They are also medicinal but cannot be ingested alone but mixed with another herb. I loved the designs on the flowers, so I was going to dry them and make a pair of earrings for them. I, too, am wowed by my creativity.
