Moonflower Dw Novels & Stories

She walked to a store to get water. "Ma'am, give me a bottle of water. Here's your money." Ariande handed the money over to the lady. The storekeeper went in to get the bottled water. "Thanks." Ariande appreciated and left the store. Ariande saw a mansion. The mansion was fabulous. Its exterior design was splendid. Soon, her eyes darted towards a bill board. It reads: A maid is urgently needed. Apply in person. Ariande immediately knocked on the huge gate. A man in his middle forties opened the gate.

The smell inside was heavy with crushed leaves and ground roots. “Do you have moonflower powder?” I asked the old man behind the counter. He studied me for a moment, then turned to fetch a small clay jar. I handed over the money, my hand already twitching to move faster. By the time we regrouped at the inn, the sun was fully up. We cleared the kitchen table, spreading out the ingredients, Lily’s Bloom, moonflower powder, ground silverleaf, and a vial of morning dew Emily had somehow managed to get from the wellspring.

she said slowly. "Discount sun," Dante corrected, taking a sip of his coffee. "The real one still arrives on schedule. This is the early-access version." A convoy of vehicles rolled into the compound below. Workers began unloading crates—rare flowers that bloomed only in direct light, heat-sensitive orchids, gold-thread banners embroidered with wolf motifs, crystal light sculptures shaped like howling wolves and crescent moons. An assistant jogged up with a card, handing it to Luna with an apologetic bow.

“Thanks. I didn’t realize I dropped it.” Drake doesn’t hand it over right away. He glances at the page. “Why don’t you sell this one? It looks… complicated. But cool.” I swallow. “One of the ingredients is hard to find.” “What is it?” he asks. The page shows a pale blue flower with curling petals and a glowing center. Laura called it moonshade. A plant that only grows in certain places, places touched by old magic. “It’s a plant,” I say carefully. “It only grows in… specific areas.”

Zev called after her, but his voice faded into the night. Only when everything fell silent did Amanda and Vada cautiously part the thick bushes to check whether the pair had gone. “They never sensed us?” Vada whispered in disbelief. “The moonflowers are in bloom tonight. Their fragrance is strong enough to overwhelm a wolf’s sense of smell and conceal our scent, as long as the moon remains high,” Amanda replied, drawing from her extensive knowledge of medicinal herbs. When Amanda looked at me, she gently wiped away the tears I hadn’t even realized were falling. The shock of the truth had broken through my defenses.

Gradually, she picked up a little rose and brought it to her nose, inhaling the soothing and fresh fragrance of it, she brought it before her gaze, and instantly the red rose turned a pitch black in her arms, and slowly, it faded into ashes and the specks of dust flee across the sky. "He was never like a rose, always been dark" she scoffed and picked up a sunflower, putting it into her basket with a smile. "It's either you come out or I came you" she turned sharply and her eyes flashed a furious shade of gold and a being appeared before her. Skin pale as the dead, pupils whitish and, hair pale, she frowned in contempt. "You are repulsing, Dya" The dead flesh scoffed. "I try to survive, Maye"

“It’s obviously either red or yellow, I don’t know of any grey muted colored flowers, the center even looks black.” I plant my butt on the grass next to him, “this is Crimson Beebalm,” I touch the petals, “this one is bright red but they can be a lot darker than this. Red is,” I take a second to think as his smile makes my brain short circuit, “hot, intense, and even dangerous. But this flower is all talk and no show. It’s edible and used for medicine,” I tell him as I begin to pluck some of the flowers out of the earth. “I’ve never had a color described to me,” he admits with a smile of appreciation on his face.

They finally found my body. I'd been soaking in the lake for many days by then, so I was already disfigured beyond recognition. The guards who found me were so disgusted by the view that they gagged and vomited as they reported to Louis. Louis was an Alpha belonging to the Blood Moon Pack, and was also the most skilled forensic pathologist among all the wolves. When he rushed over from Lily's side, he still froze at the sight of my mutilated body, despite having witnessed countless gruesome sights before.

Silvia POV "Wolf Moon," I say slowly. So many memories crowd my mind. "Next month will be Wolf Moon, that's in just ..." I think back to the events of the past few weeks that have felt more like months or even longer. "... ten days!" Darius is staring straight ahead, transfixed by the scene unfolding before our eyes.
