He stepped closer, voice low but edged with concern.

I hesitated for just a heartbeat, measuring how much to reveal.
"Moonbane Ointment. Made from water collected under a full moon and silverleaf—a herb that absorbs silver toxins."
He remained still, watching as I pressed the cloth to my arm, grimacing at the sting as the salve worked.
