Moonlit Game Novels & Stories

The growling outside had been terrifying, but his sudden departure was even more unsettling. Suddenly, the door creaked open, and I spun around, heart leaping into my throat. A figure stood in the doorway, silhouetted against the moonlit backdrop of the forest. It wasn’t Ronan. My breath caught as I realized it was one of the wolves, its eyes glowing with an unnatural light.

I gasped. Lunar Eclipse was more of a pack of mercenaries. No one knew the real names of the pack members, as they all had some sort of code name. The Alpha of the pack was known as Shadowstrike. Shadowstrike was considered the ultimate warrior, with skills that a normal werewolf didn’t possess. He could strike his opponents down with a single blow, but it wasn’t just because he was strong. There was a rumor that he could expel some sort of energy in his attacks that could knock someone down without ever touching them.

“This is the moon festival?” “Only the introduction. The real fun starts at midnight.” Celeste takes a bite out of her chicken wrap and then points past me. Through chewing, she explains, “The pack games and moonlight hunting are where the real fun is.” “Pack games?” My brows shoot up. “And what are we hunting?” “Pack games are team games and activities we get to do together while competing against other groups,” Elijah explains. “We can team up. You, me, Ariah, Nate, and Elijah.” She looks at Elijah. “If you want to team up with us, that is?”

“All who live under the moonlight know who Luna Darkmane is.” “What is your name?” Liam asked. “My name is Miriam. I used to be a healer for Knight Pack. But after the war, I was expelled. I found this village, and they, the children, came to me on their own.” “What have you been treating them with?” I asked. She held a glass bottle high. The liquid inside shimmered faintly, like liquid silver. “With this. An extract from a plant that only grows under the full moon. I call it Essence of Silvermoon.”

Moonlight spilled through the window, casting gentle pools of silver across the wooden floorboards of Aria’s home. The air was still and heavy with the silence of the night, with only the occasional whisper of wind rustling the trees outside. The pack slept peacefully beneath a sky strewn with stars, their breathing deep and steady. But inside, in the calm following their recent triumph, something was amiss—something was creeping, unseen, and heartbreakingly familiar.

"Doesn’t matter. You need protection. We all do. And a coven bond will make us stronger than anything Zach—or Derek—can throw at us." Rita’s chest warmed. She set the bowl aside. "Okay. Let’s do it." Midnight – The Old Oak Grove The moon hung full and heavy over the clearing, its silver light filtering through the ancient oak branches. The girls had chosen this spot for its energy—a natural convergence point where the earth’s magic pooled like water.

Kane ruffled Jim’s hair approvingly, while Luke fussed over Fiona like she was made of glass, murmuring for her to rest. I stood there, invisible. They were the perfect family—warm, whole, united. And I? I was the spare part, the forgotten shadow. Not a single glance. Not a word. So I left. I walked toward Moon Lake, the place I’d begged them to take me for years. "Next summer," they’d always said, "when things are less busy." Lies. Empty promises. Now, I’d go alone. But my body betrayed me. Halfway there, my wolf gave out—her strength spent, her spirit broken. My legs buckled, and the world was spinning.

The night is cold, the moon is bright. The palace halls are silent and only the howling of the winds at the night could be heard. The soft glow of the moon illuminated the palace halls. Basked in the luminous glow of the moon the palace marble floor glistened like a rare gem. Morrigan looks out of the window as she gulped the last of her glass of wine. Holding the locket that she wears close to her heart.

Stephen smirked. “Yeah you’re right. This place fits me well.” They all talked for a while but now it was getting dark the moon was coming out. “We should probably go inside.” Greg said. “I think the supper’s also ready.” Stephen told. Dara kept on looking at the moon. It seemed as the most beautiful thing she has ever seen. Ellen shook Dara, “Come on honey it’s getting dark and cold.” Dara went inside with her family but she wished to stare at that beautiful thing for a little longer.

Sebastian held out his hand in front of his companions. Luna nodded and just listened to what they were saying as they sat around the spacious and large room. “That competition was called ᜀᜅ᜔ᜀᜅ᜔ ᜋᜎᜃᜐ᜔,” Lucy said. They continued to impart knowledge about the palace to the princess. She still listened to their stories even though she was reading books about their kingdom. Luna felt at ease, she felt safe with new acquaintances. From day one she already considered them as her friends. She realized that she's no longer alone because there are actually people waiting for her and wants to get to know her.
