I told him smiling and remembering that day. “You’re very own Mount Olympus.” Zeus said. “Huh?” I asked as I turned to Zeus. “It’s the perfect place for you to not only see everything but it also keeps you connected with nature. You’re up high enough that the winds and rains will touch you, the earth and trees are all fertile, the air is clear, I hear a stream nearby, and I can feel other beings around. Not just us. Were these the woods you got lost in?” Rhea said and asked.

He has to be somewhere in his late thirties. “Where am I?” I ask, taking him and everything around me in, slowly digesting what my eyes are seeing. “You’re in Olympus dear, now follow me please. You wouldn’t want to keep the ladies waiting, especially Nix.” He chimes and starts walking towards the wall on is right. “Wa.. Wait. Olympus? The mountain of the Gods? Am I dead?” I ask shocked, though when I look around, it’s the only thing that explains the ethereal beauty of this place. Hermes chuckles. “Yes, that Olympus and you’re not dead. Trust me.” He waves his hand and like magic the wall opens up, the gold curling inwards, creating a beautiful doorway into a landscape like no other.

Both of them kissed their king on the cheeks and went away. “How did you do that?” Brock asked, astounded. “Do what?” Rad blinked before snapping his thoughts back on track. “Oh, right, newcomers. I’m an Olympian, by the way. We have shape-shifting powers. I’m the one who causes these….” He gestured to the people possessing animal appendages. “Olympian,” I mumbled. “Mt. Olympus.” Hercules was also from Mt. Olympus. Aside from super-strength, would that mean I had shape-shifting powers too? I would think about that some other time. My stomach started grumbling.

They lose their wits and begin to babble, and tell the same story in many ways. Unlike other Olympians, she is never distracted from her duties. Her work is her pleasure, her profession, her power. When Saturn butchered his father, Uranus, with the scythe his mother had given him, he flung the dismembered body off Olympus into the sea, where it floated, spouting blood and foam which drifted, whitening in the sun.

I promised as I kissed her forehead. “How does he view the prophecy?" she asked. “He doesn’t see it as literal. Born from lightning, a destroyer emerges—the fall of Olympus in his hands. The first part is obvious, as I am the son of a Zeus. But what he pointed out when he was here is the second part. The fall of Olympus is in my hands. It doesn’t say I will destroy Olympus or bring about the fall of our world. It says it is in my hands." I explained.

Alcmene’s voice fades into an echo as I try to understand what she is saying. “I don’t understand. Do you mean Zeus? THE Zeus, the Greek god who lives on top of a mountain? Thunderbolts and all that? No way. That’s not possible, those are just stories.” I send up a silent prayer to the goddess that this is some kind of initiation hoax played on everyone by their wolf. Alcmene scoffs and slows her pace to a walk.

Olympus is once again strong and the Gods are powerful once more. He hears their prayers in the morning, but at night, when the temple is closed, he will visit the seductress living there, his cock always ready to serve her.
