Killian immediately shrugged out of his jacket and draped it around her shoulders, and she pulled it tight around herself, breathing in his scent. "I loved Christmas here," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "It was—they made it so special. So magical. Mrs Morales would start decorating the day after Thanksgiving. She had made us all hot chocolate and put on Christmas music–Mary's Boy Child by Bonney M precisely, and we'd spend the whole day turning the house into something out of a Hallmark movie. And Mr Morales, he'd read us the Christmas story every single night in December, counting down until the actual day. And Daryl would—" She couldn't finish. "I hated the smell of Christmas

22nd of Christmas) After breakfast on the twenty second of December which happened to be Sunday, mom insisted that everyone must go to church but aunt Caroline refused and went upstairs. Mom gave dad a long stare which I didn't understand before going back to the kitchen. Dad shrugged and went after his sister upstairs. I just sat there on a couch with grandpa swinging my legs like a kid and waiting for whatever that came next. Point of correction!

"Even with Sophie's rules? Even with your ex-wife watching? Even with everyone knowing?" "Especially with all of that. Because it means we're real. Not hiding. Not pretending." He brought my hand to his lips and kissed it softly. "I want this, Maya. I want you. All the complications included." "I want you too." We sat there holding hands in the dark living room, the movie playing to an audience of two, the Christmas tree lights twinkling. This wasn't how I'd imagined my Christmas. Falling for my best friend's father. Navigating family drama. Sharing him with his ex-wife.

When I walked out into the living room a few minutes later with three cups of hot chocolate and marshmallows, I smiled when I saw Lucien and Olivia speaking to Russell animatedly about some classmate that they were sure would end up on the naughty list. I frowned, leaning down to place the tray on the coffee table in front of them, before picking up a white coffee mug and handing it to Russell, who took it and mouthed a small 'thank you.' “How did you two know about Santa's naughty list?” I asked, plopping down on the sofa opposite theirs. They turned to look at me, as though just realizing I'd walked into the room, before turning back to give each other a knowing look. “Luke told us all abo

In the end, I couldn't bear to let Noelle spend the last Christmas Eve of her life filled with regret. I searched through every office on the entire floor and finally found a female doctor about the same height as Ivana. I begged her to pretend to be Ivana. An hour later, the doctor appeared beside Noelle's bed, wearing a Santarina costume borrowed from somewhere on the street. She was holding Noelle's favorite doll. Noelle cried tears of happiness. "I knew Mommy wouldn't abandon me." I covered my mouth and pulled Noelle tightly into my arms. A nurse took a picture of our final moment together. In the end, Noelle died on that snowy Christmas Eve.

It morphed into anxiety, fear, self-doubt, and countless sleepless nights. I looked at my cold, swollen fingers, then slowly asked, "Ivano, did you have a happy Christmas?" Caught off guard by my response, the other end of the line went quiet. All the lectures he'd planned were suddenly stuck in his throat. Smiling, I said softly, "I had a happy Christmas too because I discovered a secret. The comment I wrote wasn't meant to mock you. I genuinely wish all of you well." Without hesitation, I hung up.

3rd January, 1999(morning) The Warehouse Lana Its a never ending circle. A repeated sequence I experience everyday, locked up in this room with little or no contact. A hollow feeling in my heart whenever I think about my family, the grief I feel whenever I remember those who died in that bloody Christmas party.

I was about to pull my trigger but unluckily my gun is empty. Bang! “Duke!” Christmas shouted when I fell down in the floor as the bullet hit on my other leg. “Run!” I ordered but she didn't listen. “Do you think you can have a good life together?” Duke asked while walking towards us, “Christmas will never be happy to you!” “That is not true!” Christmas yelled at him, “You are the one that I am not happy to be with!” “What did you say?!” Duke pulled her to him and I was about to stood up when he pointed his gun on me.

He kissed her again and then, with Goldie and Pooch yipping and yapping beneath the Christmas tree, Noelle reached over and patted them on the heads, so thankful for her beautiful family, knowing whatever Christmas future may bring, she’d be happy as long as she had Brady, Goldie, and Pooch. The End

Your man’s going to spank your ass later,’ he said in his mind before following them. Demie, on the other hand, was still clinging to Aly's arm as they entered the inside of the venue. Christmas decors on every corner, a large Christmas tree was settled on the side with its bright chirstmas lights and a gold star on the top. And with the christmas song played, people smiling at each other, Demie can really feel the spirit of Christmas. Someone meets them, a man who Demie thinks is the same age as Sandro. "Auntie, Merry Christmas," he greeted the woman and kissed her on the cheek.
