The baby could survive, but a few more days would be better. Amy looked at me, concerned, and then held her hand up to stop me. “Go see what’s happening out there,” Charlotte said to Amy. “Not on your life,” she said, donning her fighting stance that I recognized. A second later, several werewolves and vampires that I didn’t recognize rushed into the room. Amy fought the werewolves, taking their heads off and ripping out their hearts. Each changed into their human forms before their bodies hit the floor. “What are you doing? They’re ours!” Charlotte yelled over to Amy, as she ripped the hearts out of two vampires at the same time, bursting into flames.

His limbs were ripped from their sockets, torn apart piece by piece. “Ah,” I let out a sharp gasp watching the gruesome sight and then realizing it was no different from what Rowan wanted to do. This scene would be a ghastly feast for any vampire, a sight that was capable of satisfying their darkest and most depraved desires - blood. And yet, this was exactly the kind of slaughter that Rowan had been craving. “Are you alright?” Alpha Axel asked me suddenly, his eyes scanning my face. “Y-yes. I am,” came my reply, with an affirmative nod.

Even the sired ones. Master Ramez, for example—he was sired by Master Perth. He’s not a pure-blood, but he has feeders too. That’s why I’m here.” She tapped her chest proudly. “I’m his.” I blinked at her, my mind struggling to keep up. “So basically… almost every vampire has a feeder?”

Lisanna started telling Cassandra everything she knew. “Those boys following them are Jet Crane, he is a warlock, Liam Wright, a werewolf from the West, and Oliver Hunt, a vampire. Jet currently ranked number 4 while Liam was 5, and Oliver was the second,” Lisanna said. Cassandra listened intently. “And those mean girls are Judith Lockhart, a witch, Krystal Knight, a vampire, and Joana Redwood. Joana was also a vampire and she was obsessed with First,” Lisanna mumbled. She ate the remaining piece for her food while looking fat Cassandra's reaction in front of her.
