I don’t know how much time had passed. I was still holding Dad’s drained body in a pool of rose-colored water. My eyes were swollen from crying. Two figures appear in front of me. They were speaking, but words, sounds, nothing was coming through. One of them knelt in front of me. He took my face in both his hands. His lips were moving but it seems like I am listening to them from underwater. Maybe I died too. Drowned in my tears and joined Dad and Mom. Can you die from crying too much? Dehydrate yourself to the point of no return? I think that’s what happened to me.

It was William, the Alpha from the Ice Plains Pack, standing behind me. His voice was filled with sorrow, "When you sent him to the Ice Plains, I knew he died painfully. But I didn’t expect... I just kept holding on. I held on until she quit twitching, and the noise finally stopped. But that wasn't even the craziest part of it. Once she finally did stop moving....she exploded into dust! Not the stardust and energy that a forest elf usually turns to when they die, but just plain old dirty dust. It made me so happy to know that her energy was dead, that I actually laughed out loud, and I am not one bit sorry for it today."

"You've dealt with Death before, thanks for the paniolo," I mumbled and he grinned slightly.

There isn’t much time left you have to convince him to-“ The words were barely out of my mouth when he does off to where Everest was and I listened to their discussion. “ Sup dog!” Everest teased. “ Wow, even in death you’re still teasing me.” I watched as Everest’s eyes became dark and he pulled Jason to the side with him. “ What are you talking about? Do you know what’s happening to me?” “ Duh…you fed from a werewolf so naturally you’re dying. I would’ve loved to see that finally happen but there’s no fun in watching you die slowly and painlessly.”

I can't hold it so much longer "You're the one who will die, Herinel" My dad said from his back. He turned to his back and he looked shock "Do you think we died?" Nic smirked at him "How?! How?!" "Never mess with 7 Gold Lifes Herinel" Alex said I felt so weak and I can't hold it anymore. I fell down and fainted. Before I fainted fully.. I heard my dad shout my name worry. I heard a lot of guns after that and everything went black..

I let out another involuntary scream; I was going to die from this pain. I was sure of it. There was no escaping it. The Luna was too powerful, and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t get up or make the pain stop. All I could do was close my eyes and squeeze Enzo’s hand as I waited for death to take all of us.

“But you’re out now. You’re with us.” Gilly nodded faintly, wiping at her tears, but there was tiredness written all over her face. “I heard them talking during the ritual,” she said suddenly. Her voice was finally gaining strength. “The witches. They said after the ritual is complete, everyone will die. Everyone.” Ardan, standing beside Rachel, crossed his arms as his expression darkened. “We know,” he said grimly. Gilly’s eyes widened slightly. “You know?” Zone let out a deep breath, glancing between us. “Who’s going to tell her?”

“Stop it, Aurora. We might be in this state, but I can still hear your loud thoughts! Something like that is never going to happen because we are not going to die!” I like her positivity but neither of us knew what was going to become of us. Darian suddenly sighed, turned to look at his man. “If something like that were to happen…I am not saying it would but if she were to die.” He paused, it seemed as if it was hard for him to even think about me dying.
