I tried to brush off their questions, not wanting to talk about the events of the previous night. But as we sat down to breakfast, Kyle's eyes landed on the mark on my neck. His face lit up with excitement as he reached out to touch it. "It's fading," he exclaimed, his voice full of wonder. "Our mate's power is resisting the Dark Lord's mark." My eyes widened and I quickly rushed to check my neck. Kyle was right, the curse mark was fading. "That's amazing!" I exclaimed excitedly. Arthur's eyes met mine, and he nodded in agreement. "We must regroup and ally with other packs to resist the Dark Lord's power," he said, his voice filled with happiness and content.

He said I nodded and looked over at Joyce. "How am I going to get past them?" I asked "We're going to change your appearance, so they think you're Chloe," She said "What if my mom is inside?" Mark asked "She isn't there right now. She is with Marcus trying to figure out their next move," She took my hands into her and started chanting a spell. I felt weightless, like when we moved from realms. Derek and Mark looked at me, shocked. "It worked," Mark said "Now what," Derek asked

I touched the mark on my neck,still a little dazed. Back when I thought my mate would only ever be Andrew,I never could have imagined being marked by someone else. Last night,after Austin's relentless persuasion,I'd agreed to let him mark me—so he'd have something to show his family. Austin studied the mark on my neck. I can walk," she begs. Opening the bathroom door, I shove her towards the mirror and tilt her chin up. She frowns as she looks in the mirror, clearly surprised.

He could feel the stares at him, but it all followed with cheers and applause. “We are proud of you my alpha '' Mark says, walking down and hugging his best friend. Mckenny couldn't ask for a better friend. Mark has been there through thick and thin and seeing his support through everything makes him want to tear up but he holds them back like a man. The celebrations went ahead with Chimere stealing the spotlight. Everyone wanted to get a hold of her, she was not only the cutest, but her eyes and amazing hair were captivating. “What did you tell them? How has it been alone?” Mckenny asks Mark as soon as they are in the company of the shimmering moon and silent trees off the east of the pack

"Chase, you should learn to stand up for yourself, do not allow others to put you down. Don't be a sissy." The boys nodded and apologized to one another. They returned to playing and the adults went back to their talk.

“Taste The Mark! I invite you in!” “Luna, no!” Reed Taylor shouted, but the swirling, crashing noise of wind and thunder drowned everything out. It ripped at my clothes, tore at my hair. I squeezed my eyes closed. “The Mark!” shrieked the Tip-Toe Shadow. His voice was horrifyingly close to my ear, and I gasped. “She’s mine!” I felt the long fingers disengage themselves from my neck.
