It is not over. And I am not crazy. Not yet.

I would love to carry your children, I would love for us to get married and truly be a couple. Our story cannot end like this. No, I refuse to believe it’s over, that I will never see you again. That the two of us is over. I refuse to let life play this trick on us because it is a trick, isn’t it? No. It is happening; this is all too real.

He had, annoyingly, pinpointed the exact truth of our lives. “We’re not characters in a story anymore, Kai,” I said, my voice softer than I intended. “We’re just… people who live here.” “But that’s the story!” he exclaimed, then lowered his voice, abashed. “That’s the story nobody tells. The ‘happily ever after’ that’s actually just more Tuesday after Tuesday, with better pie. Don’t you think people need to see that? That saving a place isn’t an ending, it’s a door?”

This wasn’t over. Not yet.

So it's kind of independent that's why I didn't add them. The idea will turn into something else. I wish the new year to conquer this pandemic, and our health will become stronger. Thank you again for your continued support. I have an ongoing story called "I seduced my hopeless romantic editor." Which was on hold, but now it's ongoing since I will finish it before March.
