But right now, I need to notify someone that they should be prepared for a surprise, and the person who will receive my surprise is. Brooks

Nice reasoning, you never changed since last time. "Can we be friends then?" And he reached out for his hand "W-what?" I accidentally spat some of my sushi on the table from the sudden question "Gosh are you alright?" As Maxine pats my back "Here have some water, drink slowly" "I'm sorry I didn't mean to cause you harm" says Joshua worryingly. "Don't ask like all of a sudden Shua, especially to Dianna." Maine says to Joshua concerned about what just happened. "Dianna gets startled a lot of times."

I let go of him and ran forward and turned to shout "Surprise!"I shouted, spreading my arms apart, showing him what I did. I waited for his reaction but none came. He was just grumpy like always. No smile, no shock he was just ice cold and frozen like a statue. I frowned and rushed back to him and stopped just before him "It's...a picnic I planned out…"I said sounding low not sure why he wasn't surprised and lowered my gaze fiddling with my hands

The room erupted in a symphony of gasps, exclamations, and joyful laughter as the reality of the situation sank in for everyone present. Amidst the whirlwind of reactions, I couldn't help but giggle at the sheer incredulity of it all. "Surprise, Auntie! We didn't know either," I chimed in with a mischievous grin, the joy and astonishment of the moment contagious as we all marveled at the unexpected twist of fate that had brought us not just one, but two precious bundles of joy. The room buzzed with an electric energy.

Until my birthday. I had forgotten about it. Completely. It was just another day—another empty page in a calendar that meant nothing anymore. I followed my usual routine. But they didn’t forget. When I walked into the house that evening, the lights flickered on— “Surprise!”, everyone screams in sync. I froze. My heart swells up with this warm wish. I never expected a sweet surprise from these people. The one whom in such small time span became so close to me. "Thank you guys!..", I reply with a tear filled gaze.

Questions and confusion swirled in my mind as I grappled with the unexpected revelation. I discreetly looked away, trying not to intrude on their private moment, but the image lingered, leaving me with a mix of emotions. The bustling place suddenly felt like a stage for hidden stories, and I couldn't shake off the surprise of discovering this unexpected connection right in the midst of my routine day.

I asked him with a pout. “A surprise is a surprise, baby girl. It becomes more special when it’s kept a surprise.” He winked and I groaned in annoyance. “You are mean.” I twisted my lips. “You won’t call me mean when you see your surprise, baby girl.” He said with a laugh.

Over time, we both forgot about it. But now, I pulled out my phone and opened the surveillance app. It was just in time to see what was happening in the study. As the image loaded, I felt the blood in my body freeze from head to toe.

I had promised to make today memorable for her, but it seems like it might get ruined by Freya. "Samuel, is this the surprise you have for me?" I heard her express excitement. I feel my heart beating fast, not knowing what to expect from her. I knew that things wouldn't be as I thought because she had thought that I was someone else.

she informs making me confused. “A surprise?” I express confused. “Exactly…..” she answers firmly “Who organized the surprise? And are you sure that I am the one that you are supposed to call?” I ask her to be double sure because I know for a fact that I am not the kind of person that gets surprised by people, instead I am always the thoughtful one that thinks of surprising people all the time.
