My Mysterious Mate

My Mysterious Mate

The darkness of the surrounding forest seemed to close in on us as he led me deeper into the unknown, our footsteps crunching in the undergrowth as we pressed forward. We stopped abruptly when we saw a woman standing in front of a raging fire, her back turned to us and another woman, who sat beside Alice close to the fire. The woman was chanting in a language I couldn't understand. My heart skipped a beat when I recognized her as Alice, and the other woman, my mother, her hair wild and unkempt in the firelight. I couldn't see her face. Alice raised a bloody organ, a heart, which I guessed was from the monster Ryan had talked about, in one hand and a knife in the other.

MOONLIGHT MYSTIQUE

MOONLIGHT MYSTIQUE

And Eliot, already aching, would feel every single one. Damien’s steps slowed as he reached the stairwell. He leaned on the railing, gazing out at the moonlight spilling through the tall glass windows. It painted his face in silver, sharpening his smile into something dangerous. “Moonlight mystique,” he whispered mockingly. “How poetic. How tragic.” Because in the end, Eliot wouldn’t just be Theo’s obsession or Damien’s conquest. He would be something broken, reshaped in the shadows of both their hands.

Scent of my mistress

Scent of my mistress

It was the smile of a predator, of someone who, despite the odds, refused to surrender. "Why didn't I think of this before?" I whispered, the words barely audible, yet resonating with the force of revelation. The realization was akin to discovering a hidden passage in a labyrinth, a potential escape route, albeit one fraught with peril. A surge of adrenaline coursed through my veins, chasing away the lethargy of despair. The world seemed to sharpen, the colors to become more vivid, as my mind raced to process the possibilities, the implications, and the risks.

The Mystery Of Myth.

The Mystery Of Myth.

At night, They walked around the forest like a thief at night, even not daring to breathe loud, fearing that if they made a sound, they would wake some animals. After finding some wild berries to eat, they returned to the forest entrance; they saw that fog had already stopped to thicken. Still, as time went by, it started to disperse. Still, the rate of dispersal is shallow. The only person who saw this is a smart man because he felt that if they want to leave this magical forest without His heart has many conjunctions in his mind. In the end, he concluded that someone was playing tricks because he didn’t believe that in this era and this technically advanced Century, they still have those

on it in large font. "It was written by some guy named Philip Jameson and he studies ancient traditions of lost cultures. When I first saw the book, I thought it was just another children's book but after flipping a few pages, I found this," She said and opened to a particular page that had a picture of the mark on their palms. "Well, I'll be damned," Joe said. "This isn't a fictional book, boys. Everything written in here is true," Lydia said with a sparkle in her eyes.

Iris & The Book

Iris & The Book

But my grandpa didn’t have purple eyes surely…. I quickly ran over too my bag tipping out its contents, where the hell did I put it…. Rummaging around and I see it mixed in with my diary- the picture of my grandparents. Quickly laying down at the book and laying the picture next to it comparing the two…. I don’t actually believe it…it is! I decided to read over the poem again trying to take all of it in. “all is never what it seems Vases can hold life but not forever devils lurk in darkness and shadows

Melanin Diaries: Perfectly Imperfect

Melanin Diaries: Perfectly Imperfect

The poem went this way, Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there; I did not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sun on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uprising rush Oh quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there; I did not die.

looking at the sky He seemed lost in thoughts..and very calm He wore a white T-shirt with a black long hoody. His hair was messy in a very charming way.. I walked towards him..and stood by his side looking at thesame sky The was silence between us as we kept staring at the sky After which he turned his gaze to me..as i kept looking at the sky..yet could feel his intense gaze on me "Why stay in the dark?" i asked "I'm not in the dark..the moon and stars are meant for the night..given the world light.

Place! The song stopped making any real sense then, but we sang it anyway. And she twirled me around, not even caring that she got mud splattered on her jeans. I make up more lyrics myself, now, singing and swinging my feet in the water, watching the flying droplets catch the early morning light before falling to the river again. And then, just as I'm trying to think of a rhyme for lips, I catch a flicker of movement out of the corner of my eye. Something much too big to be a bird.

Mage of Wolves

Mage of Wolves

I asked him. Without looking up from his book, he said, “Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary, over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore--While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping. As of someone gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.” I had to assume he was answering my question by reciting his poem, but I had absolutely no idea what he was talking about, so I only stared at him, dumbfounded, until he lowered his book and arched an eyebrow at me.

Satagalli
Very enjoyable. It's great that it's more of a polyamory than a man harem like a lot of recent books are. The characters personalities are well defined and do not stray or muddle into a bunch with the same attitude.
Christy Scott
I love this book and think the author is very talented. my only concern is the cost of reading the book is around 100 dollars. I wish it was broken up into two or even three books but it is worth the time if you want to spend that much on 1 book.
