Cycle of Cliches

Cycle of Cliches

The eighth was at Kolkata Airport smoking zone. If you see her, give her this poem: There’s that fireball in the south-west, in a homeward spree, wondering “What now, at the end of the day? I say in jest, “You and me!” I turn away from the yellow shroud: and it’s your hazel-eyes I see. Sleep woken or dream broken, entangled or untangled, love burnt or hate soaked, praised here or blamed there, dealt with or dealt in

Mend My Broken Heart

Mend My Broken Heart

Our clandestine dialogue became a delicate negotiation, a dance of words veiled in enigma, as the secrets of the courtyard unfolded like petals in the night. The figure's eyes glinted with the reflections of ancient truths. "Answers are elusive, my dear," they replied cryptically, a breeze carrying their words into the shadows. "But perhaps you possess the key to unlock the mysteries hidden within the labyrinth of time." As the night deepened, an ethereal glow enveloped us, unveiling fragments of a story etched in the celestial tapestry.

One Luna, Four Alphas

But the words remained elusive, their meaning obscured by the veil of time. As the sun dipped below the horizon once more, I sat in silence, the ache in my stomach ebbing and flowing like the tides of the moon. The night sky stretched above me, a canvas of countless stars, each holding its own story, its own secrets. And in that moment of quiet contemplation, I vowed to seek the truth, to uncover the mysteries that lay dormant within me.

I’m sorry. I gave up on this book. It was all over the place. Names mixed up. Events changed from what we previously read in a prior chapter. There is an entire chapter completely unrelated to anything about this book. It doesn’t flow. It doesn’t seem to go anywhere. Refund would be nice…

Mysterious Mates

Mysterious Mates

It would be 12 AM soon and the deed need to be done before 11:59 PM. "Have a nice sleep." She said with a malicious smirk as she disappeared. She walked away from the backyard and put her cloak over her head as she moved towards the pack borders. "Who is there?" One of the pack patrols yelled and she hurriedly ran and crossed the log of wood that indicated the end of the pack. She looked back and smiled victoriously. "Wait for me." She thought with a giggle before stomping away in the dark night. * * * Lyra sat up instantly. Something pricked in her mind and she could not sleep. She does not know why. She sniffed in the air and this pungent smell made her wrinkle her nose. "Whose scent is th

Whispers of The Crescent Moon

Whispers of The Crescent Moon

His body pressed against mine, hot and unwanted. As we rode out, the brothel fading behind us, smoke started to rise from the windows. Flames licked the roof. Vesper’s screams echoed in my ears. And in my chest, that strange pull tugged harder—like a warning I couldn’t understand. But there was no time to wonder. The pack lands loomed ahead, dark and waiting.

My Mysterious Husband

She stumbled back, hand over her mouth, feeling the bile rise. Pinned to the bear’s chest was a note, scrawled in jagged letters: "I'M NOT YET DONE WITH YOU, DR. ARIA." Terror gripped her, cold and paralyzing. Her breaths turned shallow and rapid. Every shadow in the room seemed to stretch, every sound suddenly louder. She wasn’t just frightened—she felt hunted.

Mystic Full Moon: The Poisonous Curse

Mystic Full Moon: The Poisonous Curse

Alexis stared at Lendon seriously and said, “Mr. Martin, after last full moon night, I am sure Miss Miller can help control your poison, but….” “What?” Lendon stared at Alexis and asked coldly. “The poison has increased rapidly since last night,” Alexis answered. Lendon had guessed this result, so he didn’t get angry. “Do you know the reason?” He asked. “I think it is also related to Miss Miller.” Alexis explained patiently, “At full moon night, Miss Miller will spread a kind of special smell as well as another matter from her that could lessen the wolf poison inside your body; therefore, I conclude she can help decrease it. But on an ordinary day, her body is producing another matter that w

The Beta's Daughter

The Beta's Daughter

“Let’s see it.” I turned the paper over, and revealed the poem scrawled in pencil on the back. Down the streets of woodland black I wander, earth to hearse In every tree I see a wave A looming tidal curse On the cusp of something greater Stood ankle-deep in floodwater Stagnant pools of brown and red The onslaught is coming; I dread For each dark night and each pearl day The mist does clear too soon The floodplain is drown’d again The water, torn from its ocean womb
