They’re large and eerie with only fire lamps to guide us, which cast long shadows over the musty smelling place. The entrances of the cells are signified by arches but even with my eyes, I can’t see the end to them. They look like never ending pits. “This way,” Fera murmurs and I follow her. “Are you sure we can do this?” I trail after her. “Won’t Damien hurt you?”

He gave a suggestive smirk that makes bile rise in my throat. ‘Guys, I could really use some help right now,’ I say in the mind-link. ‘We’re coming,’ Alessandro says. ‘There’s a villager here who knows about an old mine shaft that we think could be your dungeon. It’s not far.’ ‘Please hurry,’ I say, though I know they’re doing the best they can.
