We soon left the city, taking a route, which as described by Joseph, would take us to the motel Cameron had booked for our entire stay. The roads were empty, only a few cars to be seen, and at every ground we covered, the excitement burst through me. The fingers of Cameron were linked in mine, form sat back in the seat, while his gaze lingered on me, being taken up by this much glee. "Isn't this exciting?" I let out a squeal, staring on at the areas we drove past. It was a new discovery for me. A journey of thrill. "What is that?" Damon asks, stepping closer to the table. "No idea," Hank says, studying the orb.

Then I got back to my research again browsing through criminal cases described in news articles and web forums. An hour passed and I was tired of reading bloody stories that got me nowhere near something I could use in the novel, so I began to grumble on one of the mystery-crime forums. “Help me out. Have you heard of any interesting murder case nowadays? I swear, I’m not a psycho, I’m a writer begging for an inspiration,” I hoped that sounded convincing enough. No one was answering. I’d waited for an hour and got little bit frustrated. I was about to get back to my previous way of research but then someone replied.

It was impossible for me to read them all. I looked outside again. The sky was starting to darken. I should go back before it gets darker. As I moved to pick up my bag from the table, the corner of my eye caught something. A book on the bottom row of the shelf looked different from the thick gray-covered books. It was a pale yellow book with golden curvy writing on the side. I crouched down, took the book, and read the title. MYSTERIES OF GOLDEN VALLEY THROUGH THE AGES

They were certainly right. Given the weight of the book, I did not expect it to be only three entries, it looked like whoever wrote it had planned to write more but could not. I sigh in exasperation and tuck the book back into my bag all the while trying to figure stuff out. Someone wrote those entries for a reason, apparently hid it from prying eyes and made it only visible to one person — me. And now wants me to find him or her, only if I know who the hell the person is. How I fit into all of these happenings is still a mystery, but one thing I learned from my Mother was; a reader never shies away from a good mystery. What would my mother do if she was here? I had no idea but all I know is

Even though I had been feeling comfortable and relaxed these past few days, I was still in the lion's den. Thane could pounce on me at any time. Recently, I found a good book about murder, and a clever and dexterous detective caught my attention. Although, at first, I felt confused by the storyline created by the author. In the end, I understood more about solving a case. In between my activities, I felt someone's presence in the room. I didn't close the door to let anyone know that I was there.
