Just like what Eugene said, if only Abby had done her homework and read the books that he provided, she would have known why earth nymphs did not like to be referred to as 'Fairies'. Fairies and nymphs may have looked quite the same but they were two different entities. Nymphs were the spirits of nature as such there were also different kinds of nymphs as per elements.
