Mythological Wolf Creatures Novels & Stories

The Lycans and Werewolves are two different species of wolf man but they carry a common past. The ancient legends speak of a king named Licaon who lived in Greece, southern Europe, more precisely in the city of Arcadiae who would have been cursed by Zeus for committing unholy and cruel acts. It is said that he was a sadist, who murdered the visitors of his castle and used to serve his meat to guests at the dining table.

DANTE POINTED TO A couple of wolves fighting. "Those are usemi. Also known as werewolves or lycans. There's a lot of myth and lore about them, some true, some not. The bare bones version is that they are real, but very rare. I don't know how far back they go, but I do know that their population has been dwindling. If humans knew of them, they'd put them on the endangered species list. Akharu, too."

What happened to this place? I walked deeper into the chamber, my fingers grazing the cool stone as I moved along the walls. The murals depicted the story of the Moon Wolf, the legendary being from whom my own power was said to descend. Each image told a tale—a tale of creation, struggle, and the timeless bond between the Moon Wolf and the tribes that worshipped it. They were right about me being important to the pack. We were great warriors. In one mural, I saw the Moon Wolf, a majestic creature with silver, its eyes glowed with wisdom and power. I was captivated by the way the wolf was portrayed—its presence commanding yet protective, a guardian of the night who watched over the land and i

"We are in the middle of a war crisis...." "The war is just three weeks away. You should get a breeder once the war is over." He seemed so confident that we would win this battle. Even when the Flaming Wolf was yet to emerge. The Flaming Wolf is a mythical creature I had always heard about, as a child. It was a unique kind of wolf, that possessed the ability to spit fire. Its furs were pure fire, and could burn anyone close enough to it. It was a literal demi-goddesss. The surprising thing is, it actually wasn't a mythical creature. It was as real as could be. In the dream Logan had, he saw it fighting alongside us, in the war.

“I have never met one, as not everyone knows who and where they are. But they did teach us in the Alpha Academy about the Four Wolves of the Lunar World.” I swallowed. I’d heard of them but thought they were only myths, as no one talked openly about them. “The Earth, Air, Water, and Fire Wolves. There’s only one of each in a lifetime. Once the Lunar Wolf dies, it is passed on to a new one.” “The Lunar Wolves are a myth.” “Says who?” “I can be a witch. It’s easier to explain that.” “You’re a wolf, Adessa. Even if one of your parents fucked with a witch, you will never be a crossbreed. The law of nature doesn’t allow that. It’s either you’re a wolf or a witch.”

He stood about six feet in his wolf form and had a dominating presence. Maxwell in his wolf form faced his rival's chest. The wolf took several steps backwards and then bent to stare at Maxwell, "Do I need to repeat myself?" His voice was deep and guttural. Maxwell felt himself want to take a leak. It was the first time he had seen wolves like this. They were the higher forms of wolves. Many people called them 'Lycans'. Lycans were supposed to be mythical creatures but standing before one, he knew it was all true.

The woods were literally between our house and the town, which was best for protecting howling wolves from prying eyes. In ancient times Herodotus wrote of the Neuri, a nomadic tribe from Scythia which later became part of Russia. If folklore were to be believed, they were a tribe of magical men who could change into wolves. If you asked Malachi, he would laugh and say that those men probably wore wolf skins because of the harsh climate of Russia and were mistaken for wolf men. Nobody can be certain when wolf people first originated, but the wolf god, Fenrir, is universally accepted by all wolf packs as the first creator of our kind. Although Fenrir had no magic of his own, Freyja represente

The myths, the legends just became a reality after the gruesome transformation. The ancient white wolf. White wolves were the first generation of Werewolves ever created by the Moon Goddess. Along with pure white fur, they had golden ancient runes on them and golden eyes. The moon goddess did not only give them a beautiful appearance, but she gifted them great power. The power that is coveted by all creatures of the realm. White wolves were gifted with the power of a thousand witches, healing blood, and the ability to control another individual with their minds. As it is known that werewolves are affected by silver, white wolves are immune to silver. White wolves were supreme to other supern

It was necessary to take steps and unfortunately; the outcome remained uncertain until afterward. I despised wolves. They are a virus from a spell going wrong. They claim Selene was the one to bring about their existence, but she only succeeded with the help of our goddess Hectre. Before that, the ‘wolves’ Selene created were the stuff that haunts children’s sleep. Some still exist, but they keep themselves hidden, preying on the scraps left in order to survive. I keep a few close by. You never know when one might come in handy.
