"I think I know what she is, Thorne." The room shifts, the noise around us fading into the background. "Go on." He hesitates again, glancing around the room as if checking for eavesdroppers. Finally, he leans closer, lowering his voice even further. "The Eidolon." Whatever I thought was going to come out of his mouth, it wasn't that. "The Eidolon are a myth." I dismiss his ridiculousness. "Were a myth," Logan corrects, his tone heavy with implication. "Until now."

“Ready? “I asked, moving to be on Vraxlon's side. The warlord offered me a smile full of emotions that I was not able to deduce, and lightly squeezed my fingers on his. "Let's finish with this," he said, guiding us to the temple of the Oracle. "Tell me every detail about what you know about the Oracle," I asked Vraxlon. The Prince-warrior still led us to the marble steps in front of the entrance to the temple in the heart of Purgatory, the home of the celestial creature who knew the whole truth about life and time, and who was responsible for writing the stories of humans. Eva. The second woman created by God. Exiled from paradise for having yielded to the sin of the serpent, eating the forb

[Elara's POV] [Lost her memory of past few days] I backed away as the creature launched its attack. Clutching the sword from the temple, I struck at it, but the blade passed through its misty fog as if it were nothing. I knew it wasn’t my mother. The Echo Wraith always appeared as a familiar face—a loved one, a long-lost friend, or a figure from the victim’s past—only to grotesquely distort and morph into a disturbing mask of anguish or malevolence. The expressions on its face are exaggerated and twisted, reflecting the lies and deceit it preys upon. One moment it might seem sorrowful, and the next, it could sneer with malevolence. Its misty form occasionally shimmers with an eerie glow that

Sryrn and her queen's men replie Moriah peeled off the glove and let it fall to the ground, ready to turn into the Legend. The gods in the pyre were scarcely recognizable anymore. The head fell off the smith with a puff of ash and embers. Myra sang in the tongue of Waterfall, her voice rising and falling like the tides of the sea. Ezekiel untied his singed leather cape and listened in silence. Thrust in the ground, it still glowed ruddy hot, but the flames that clung to the sword were dwindling and dyin

he began, and I twitched my lips, drifting away,y from the irrelevant lecture. “Telling me the name of the beast isn’t what I want, I need to know the problem to find a solution,” I groaned. “There is only one being that can destroy the beast.” My brows snapped up as I finally gave him my attention. “Who?” I asked impatiently. “A descendant of the moon goddess.” The frown on my face returned and I glared at Ethan. There is nothing like a descendant of the moon goddess. They only exist in the stories we were told when we were still pups. What nonsense is this old wizard spewing?

John asked as he stood up from where he’d been writing something on the floor, with chalk. “Rare, but then again rarer still are the demons and gods”, she muttered, “The common supreme beings happen to be chimeras, Kitsune, Hydras, Medusa, Kraken, a lot of nymphs and sirens, a lot of Greek mythologies if I had to be pedantic. Oh! Your homeroom teacher Mr. Edwards is a Leviathan, and his wife is a siren I think, we’ve had the first werewolf too; The Beast of Gévaudan and Fenrirs too, a Minotaur and Basilisks. I personally have known three different Basilisks”, she listed as she tried to recall the different Ascendants she’d met. “I thought if one existed, another Ascendant of the same kind co

𓅪 THE TALE OF ECHOR A few thousand years ago there were two worlds connected. This is the world of Earth and the world of Echor. The world of Echor has three types of creatures inhabited by Elves, Dwarves and Muggles. Meanwhile, on Earth there is a creature called man. Fun, abundant and full of laughter envelop the two worlds. But along with the change of time, so does the change of man's behavior. They learned to be greedy, to be selfish and to be oppressive.

“There’s another one, then?” “From the ancient texts of Elyfan Mythology, there are two trees of origin in which the Adentus had created …” Luna paused as she took a sip on her tea, “They called it the Tree of Genesis and the Tree of Exodus a long time ago … but we now refer ours as the Tree of Genia. The demons, on the other hand, worship the Tree of Exodia. Some people believed that there is the third tree of origin in the heavens … they would call it the Tree of Skya, since there are only three Adentus that existed before Earthos was created.”

Lola asked with wary eyes directed to Erin. "He understands. At least, that was what he told me, but he asked me to be careful not to let fanged god Melchidezek aware," Erin breathed out, massaging her temples. "There were twelve fanged gods before. One was cast out because she fell in love with a human... or was it a necromancer?" Lola asked herself as she told the story of Manayin. Erin turned, facing Lola with shocked eyes. "You mean there was a goddess amongst them?" Lola nodded. Erin blinked rapidly, trying to digest what her sister had just said.
