Cursed Luna

Cursed Luna

Although my pulse was pounding with a mix of surprise, anxiety, and interest, I tightened my jaw and forced myself to remain still in order to maintain the steadiness of my voice. My inner historian came to life. Once, before I was overwhelmed by conflict, duty, and blood, I spent years poring over literature that most people wrote off as myths. Forgotten documents, half-burned scrolls, or broken tales carved into stone. Stories about creatures that formerly roamed with wolves but had disappeared so thoroughly that the world had dismissed them as myths. Stories about fire, blood, and elements that could bend to their will were whispered.

The Final Cut

The Final Cut

“No that’s not what I’m saying at all, I’m asking what you know about fiction?” “You mean if I want to free a character from a story, I have to follow the rules of fiction.” “And what rules usually apply to fictional rescues from Hell?” “Wait, you said she was trapped in a story, not Hell.” “Both Heaven and Hell are stories that we tell ourselves. They’re ways of coping with our mortality and what comes after.” “I suppose you’re right, that’s why we tell tales about descents into the underworld isn’t it?” “Yes it is.”

Princess of Death

Princess of Death

Aynyra was sick of non-believers. "Fine," Rhae chuckled. Rhae began reading the book of children's stories, that told great tales of Fae, Faeries, Pixies, Shapeshifters, Draekons and magic of all kinds. It was inspirational for a book of myths as protagonists overcame challenges over challenges. Fae rode Draekons, Shapeshifters were powerful creatures and Pixies were tricksters who challenged any kind of hierarchy in the magical world.

There was also the cliff-jumping scene that later transitioned to a mighty woman seated on her throne in another realm. I was a bit crazy for retaining those parts even after moving to this platform, right? Haha. However, a year later, I still left them there, as a reminder of where I first started. I was also a bit selfish since I wanted to introduce the gods and goddesses as soon as I could. Those creatures that are always in the horror stories and folktales of my childhood. And the gods and goddesses I only encountered through a bit of research about Philippine mythology. My vision when I first drafted my opening chapter was to later steer my characters in exploring the various worlds. Th

Quite the unique story in this website. I have read until chapter 50, it's a nice fantasy that is also like just a slice of life, at times heavy, at times just like a breath of fresh air. Only problem is the expensive chapters. Good work though.

ALPHA'S CAGED BRIDE

ALPHA'S CAGED BRIDE

I steadied my breathing, “Do you know that if you put in the same energy you use to read into school, you’d be a grade A student.” She stuck out her tongue at me in retaliation. “You really need to read this one; it’s about fairies and werewolves,” she gushed, “I can’t wait to meet an actual fairy.” “Fairies don’t exist, Leslie,” I said in a bored tone. “Of course they do,” she argued, “If they didn’t then why would people write about them?” “Because it’s a myth, and it’s fantasy, it sells well.” “Every myth is based on truth,”

’ He sniffled. ‘Maybe I can find a way to fix that, too,’ I muttered, scanning the pages of an ancient, dusty book I’d found buried in Moon Chasm’s library. I didn’t find anything. There were old fairy tales, so old they barely seemed recognisable anymore, that spoke of affronted gods casting down their children and making the first wolves. Some were classic tales, like the one about three pups going too near a river and being turned into toads to save them from drowning; others were cautionary tales, warning young wolves away from humans and forbidding any sort of romances between us and them – all in a fun, rhyming sort of way, of course.

Room was never that big and the portraits like that had never been made or seen in the pack house before . The cabinet and the glass container which shattered were part of the illusion too to make me fear. I went through many other books in the search of the other half of the piece of paper that was in my hand .None of them was missing any piece. The books were old but not that old like the piece of paper in my hand .It was yellow in color and it was almost falling off .I wanted to know from where that piece came inside that book. There were few other books about witches, most of them were about their history and nothing else. Getting bored of this search I was into the other half of the lib

Nevertheless, I pushed forward, my fingertips dancing across the keyboard, searching for the elusive truths hidden in the vast expanse of the internet. Websites appeared and disappeared on the screen like fleeting phantoms, their pages teeming with folklore, legends, and ancient myths. I delved into the dusty archives, immersing myself in tales of creatures that prowled the night, their ethereal beauty and insatiable hunger casting a spell over unsuspecting victims.

And right now, she's reading Michael's birthday present to her: Greek Myth and Legend. Feet up, stretched out on the settee in front of the fire, she couldn't look happier.... Well, maybe there's one way.... I nudge up her feet to sit beside her. "Which story are you reading?" "The one about how Heracles wrestled with Achelous and broke off his horn and created the cornucopia.... The horn of plenty." She dimples happily and there's a merry little twinkle in her eye. Is that some kind of hint?

My mother gushes, "You're still in school, you know that's against the rules." Heleni rolls her eyes. "I'll catch up with you a little later, Ianthe. Maybe there's some fun around here somewhere." I chuckle and watches as she goes down the stairs and towards the teenagers around the bonfire. "Would you like to join her?" Ianthe looks up at me, her beautiful eyes shining and a smile on those full lips. "No, I'm right where I want to be." Moon Goddess have mercy, I need a cold shower again stat.
