FORSAKEN WIFE, NOW A BILLIONAIRE'S GREATEST REGRET

FORSAKEN WIFE, NOW A BILLIONAIRE'S GREATEST REGRET

“Especially when they’re built on truth.” A faint, condescending smile touched her lips. “Truth is such a malleable concept, don’t you find? Often confused with sentimentality and… well, fiction.” Her eyes locked with mine, a direct challenge. “I read your little blog post. A very moving story. A work of fiction, of course, but moving nonetheless.” I could feel Arthur tense beside me. The entire room was holding its breath. “It’s interesting you should mention fiction,” I said, not breaking eye contact. I gestured to the mosaic. “This phoenix, for example. It’s a powerful myth. Rising from the ashes. But it’s not the only powerful story about rising from ruin, is it?”

Scarlett: The Crimson Bride

『.+* •ᴘʀᴏʟᴏɢᴜᴇ• *.+』 "So do Fairytales really exist?" THE AGE OF MYTHICAL BEINGS subsisted long before the medieval Renaissance period. As early as 500 years ago, mankind trusted a certain species of The Mythics. Mages. Sorcerers, the magic wielders. Some as wise and powerful as the Great Merlin himself.

Elias blinked and silently urged her to continue. “We spoke to her and she told us about,” Fionna turned to me and I nodded, “she told us about Mage wolf.” I saw the way Elias stiffened, his eyes widening for a microsecond before he composed himself. “I…heard that only in folktales, as in, she was a myth,” he replied slowly. His lips curled into a small smile. Fionna looked back at me helplessly. I blinked once and turned to Elias. He was omitting truths, which was technically not a crime, but I was desperate.

The Un-Stereotypical Life of A Prince and A Heiress

The Un-Stereotypical Life of A Prince and A Heiress

Then he closed the door behind him and left. I'm seating near the vast window, the warmth of the sunlight penetrating the glass is relaxing. The cold drink on my hand compliments the heat of the sunshine, I love this. I then took a random book on the shelf, a book about Greek Mythology. I remember, when I was younger, I was very fond of Greek and Norse Mythology which further lead to my love for fantasy and fairytale. My Brother would read me a story each night and I'll feel like the happiest little girl in the world to have such a nice brother like him. Those were the days when our parents recently passed away, so he was considerate and concerned about my emotions and comforted me always.

Legendary Goddess

Legendary Goddess

S-Sophie is one of the legendary goddesses? "So did Sophie survive because she was half a vampire?" Clarence asked. "Yes, but it is also possible because she was a legendary goddess. Because one of the powers of the legendary goddess is immortality. " So the king said. When a creature is a legendary goddess, it means you are higher than the Queen of Goddesses. When you are a legendary goddess, it means you are the GODDESS OF ALL GODDESSES. "So it means that Sophie is the woman referred to in the prophecy? A half-vampire and half-wizard. The first legendary goddess who was a half-vampire and half wizard, and she was also the strongest of all legendary goddesses in the world." I asked, and the

said Leon. "Look at this," Leon said as he typed something on his keyboard. Suddenly an image appeared on the largest monitor screen. “There are still many monsters in The Myth that haven't appeared. While in The Myth, we only face a few monsters, right? The rest of it focuses on illusions, hallucinations, delusions, whatever," said Leon. The screen displays pictures of monsters in mythology. “Dragons, chimeras, fire birds, cerberos, there are many more that have yet to appear. Do you know why?" asked Leon.

I furiously denied them, not wanting to believe his words. “Hehe…” he chuckled before walking out of the bar and towards the large couches that were situated at the center of the lounge, “For centuries or more we’ve been in existence. The Baron's Cold Proposal

The Baron's Cold Proposal

It felt a perfect fit and he had slept every night holding her in that position, nestled together. Felix also taught Athena further on Roman and Greek mythology, including pointing out the different types of nymphs that were sneakily hidden in and amongst the mosaics depicting friendly woodland scenes. These were beings who lived to tease and manipulate humans and gods, sometimes falling in love with them, sometimes chasing them to the ends of the earth to capture the man they wanted.

A wonderful story full of characters you love to love and ĺove to hate. I echo the sentiments around the ending but I'm relieved at the lack if true redemption arc (told you - characters you love to hate!)

Warning ends with a .... cliffhanger with no sequel. Great book overall by a talented author. I recommend it, and the cliffhanger doesn't ruin the book. It honestly do with a round of editing for character names being mixed up. This is one of the author's earlier books and is worth the read!
