Darius let out a breath—a disbelieving, almost stunned laugh. “No.” He shook his head, eyes flashing. “No, that’s not possible.” One of the warriors muttered a curse under his breath. Another just stared. Because they knew that name. Everyone did. Theoden wasn’t just a name. It was a legend. An ancient name. A name whispered in wolf mythology. The name of a demigod.
