The fog in Blackwood Glen had a habit of swallowing sounds, turning the evening into a claustrophobic dampness that clung to my jacket. Daring to look down again, I see that where I had just scratched, is a gaping wound and there is a maggot crawling out of it. I hear a noise from behind me and when I turn on my heels, I watch as the same man from before stands about a foot taller than I am and is staring right into my eyes. He opens his mouth and states, “You have finally awakened. Good.”

The boys had the decency to end up outside, and then they got dressed, gave me sweet kisses on the head, and left. I had a feeling I would end up with a red-hot butt, so I went to the bathroom, washed up as best I could, and got dressed. When I came out and saw that they weren't there, that you could hear the laughter on the terrace, I went up to the girl and tried to record her. I took her pulse and realized she was really asleep. She removed her cloak, revealing a youthful face. “I’ll do it myself!” Nyx grabbed Hazel’s hand, pressing hard on her palm. Hazel’s eyes rolled back, turning completely white, then Nyx fell to the ground with a loud groan. Fae backed away. “Fucking Baudelaire!” Nyx exclaimed, releasing Hazel’s hand. “Sleep!” she commanded, waving her hand. Hazel’s eyes shut immediately…

Meeting his gaze again, I caught him gulping before he looked away. "Um... I should head now." I crossed my arms over my chest, feeling my insides a little tingle when he gazed at me. But he got distracted because the moment I had done my action, my cleavage showed, which was not my intention. "G-Good night, Alucard." Gulping, I felt ticklish right now when he snapped back and nodded. "Good..." He cleared his throat when his tone changed. "Good night, Faustina."

The later waited for him to say something else, at least anything that would be reasonable for him not to tell the girl’s mother. “She won’t be able to bear it. She loves Calista more than anything.
