We got back to our conversation while waiting for the water to cool down and I found him to be an unlucky kid who got neglected by everyone. Listening to his story, he didn't tell much about him, especially the part that I heard from Hunter. However, it was still a pretty sad story the way he was brought up here in neglect, and up to this day, nobody still seems to notice him as a person. I thought for a minute that he was going to mention Skye while telling me about himself, but he didn't make the mistake of doing that so I guess he hates her just as much she hates him too.

I’ve been hurt continuously and I can barely take the pain anymore. Everyone cherishes Brenda and they all end up taking her side. I wonder why I’m not lovable. Is it because my parents didn’t raise me? My biological parents are supposed to protect and pamper me after the ugly incident that separated us for ten years but I don’t get any of that. The feeling their neglect leaves me with is worse than Oliver’s betrayal.

Violet went silent. Her eyes filled with tears as she lifelessly rested her head against the couch. Her shoulders trembled slightly while she shook her head as if finally comprehending the weight of everything he had just said. " No… we’re both at fault. I didn’t want her to live the same life I did, so I ran away with her. But I forgot that I was also taking her father away from her. I forced her to grow up without fatherly love. She was right...... I was selfish, only thinking from my own perspective and not considering what she needed. In the midst of our conflict and everything that was going on, I forgot that there’s a life in between us."

My blood boils with anger when I think about how much my father has neglected her when she most needed him under the pretense that he was busy taking care of the pack. He didn't even dare to move an inch. "As for you guys—" Nicole pinned her gaze on her parents' faces once again. "You gave birth to me, so I've spent the past two decades repaying you for your benevolence. From now on, don't come to me for money. You don't have the right to do that at all." Dorothy looked alarmed. "H—how could you say this to us? Raising you was a difficult task! Now that you've become capable, I suppose you don't even want us as your parents anymore, do you?"

It was a realization that pierced through my heart, a burden I carried silently as his father. In the quiet of our house, after Athro had drifted into peaceful slumber, I sat alone, grappling with the weight of my role as a sole parent. I allowed myself a moment of vulnerability, tears streaming down my face as I mourned not only for Athro's loss but for my own as well. Tobias didn't say anything yet for me to tell him about it but my heart already knew. “T-Tobias…” I bit my upper lips. “M-My parents… I have terribly bad memories with them.” I sobbed. Tobias grabs me, locking me into his arms. There, I could no longer stop my tears anymore. I was crying to the chest pouring all the pain that is likely to come back into my mind from the past. Never did I imagine that my own parents would neglect me. I am their child. How could they do that to me?

I wanted to argue that he's the one that never wanted to hang out, but people see these things from different perspectives. To me, Javier changed all of a sudden, he became a shadow of the brother I once knew, he'd rather stay locked up in his room. I can still remember when we were close. "I'd get so mad at you for getting all the attention every fucking time. I crave the attention given to you by mum and even dad" Dad? "That's not true," I whispered to myself but he heard me.

Nate remains silent. "I wasted my life staying in that place, believing my father that it was possible to have a complete family. I put everything aside, even my personal feelings, just to wait! But what happened? Everything was just a nightmare. I lost the only love that I had..- but I guess it's fate, my hatred motivates me yo become who I am now. " "Do you have any regrets about staying with your father that long? How about making the wait a priority over looking for a job that could possibly make Raven stay with you? Sorry for the word. I didn't mean to remind you of her." Nate asked, and it made me more mad.

The only person he had was his father; his mother abandoned him at birth and his father wasn’t in contact with any other family on either side. The Moon-Valley pack was his family, and he was lucky enough to have them by his side and help him every step of the way. He was even luckier when he met and befriended Jonathan because Jonathan was 16 and gained the full ability to transition. So, when Greggory needed wolf muscles, Jonathan was always there to help him. Once Greggory turned 16, he was even more powerful and even more respected amongst the pack.
