NEKTARIOS’ POV A stifled groan escaped my lips as I felt a sudden, painful jab in my chest. Sinking my claws into the tree bark beside me, I tried to catch my breath. The first five minutes felt like a living hell. Bracing myself, I let the pain rip through every vein of my body while fighting off the control it intends to have over me. The eyes rolled deep into their sockets as my veins popped in excruciating pain. I can feel the storm swelling inside of me. Holding onto the tree tightly, I bite down hard on my lower lip to take it all in. After what felt like a lifetime of excruciating pain, my body slumped into the dirt.
