The writing can be overly purple sometimes—we get it, the night is dark—but the tension between their biology and their growing connection is handled well. I'd say skip if you're not into the SasuNaru pairing, but if you are, it's probably the most developed take on that combo with this supernatural twist. The fight scenes are surprisingly good, blending jutsus with more traditional vampiric speed and mind tricks.
