Nori giggled, her tiny hands reaching up to touch Jessica's face. After breakfast, Jessica decided to take Nori outside to explore. "I know you have every right to tell me to leave now. You’re sitting in a jail cell because of the Jones family and wearing that orange suit because of a woman who thinks you’re nothing but a bug to be stepped on." I looked at her. "Did Elizabeth send you here to gloat?" I interrupted. My voice was shaky, but I forced myself to look her in the eye. I wouldn't let her see me cry. Not her, not here, and not now. "Because if she did, you can tell her I’m not giving up and I’m not signing your papers, neither am I going away." Nora looked at me steadily and didn't cringe. Instead, she reached into her small, expensive leather purse and slowly, she pulled out a tiny silver flash drive.

He raised his voice and said, "Ava get back to the big table, everyone is waiting. Ava! Do you hear me talking to you? Oh my God, she's shifting." Norris pulled out a short Pistol and cocked it with his thumb and with both hands, pointed it towards me. He said, "Trying to shift at this point will be the biggest mistake you will ever make, you mateless fool." Andre stared down at me with unwavering disgust and smiled. He said, "I thought you were on her side all this while. But please, you are not doing us any kindness here. Do you think you are doing the right thing? I can tell you are doing the wrong thing. Let's beg her and see what she does."

"Beautiful name for a beautiful young lady." "Thank you." He started a conversation with me, asking me random questions and other things. I found out that he was also a doctor.

I had to admit, Alina did a good job of healing his leg. "I was beginning to think you would never show up," the man's raspy voice mused, "My name is Grayson," he extended his hand and I gladly shook it, feeling at ease by his politeness, "You must be Zion.
