He knew I was not the Lumira whose medical records he had studied. "Dark magic is not native to this body," he said, placing his cards on the table with deliberate precision. Not playing cards. Research notes, thin and precise, covered in diagrams I couldn't read from this distance. "Necromancy at your level requires a soul that has already crossed the threshold. A soul that has died and returned, carrying the imprint of the grave. The original Lumira never died — not truly. She was murdered. There is a difference." He looked at me, and for the first time, his clinical mask cracked. Not with emotion — with hunger. The hunger of a scholar who had found the anomaly he had been searching for.

"Yes, but he's not like you. He is not dead and doesn't have Ayja's third eye like you. So I won't be able to make use of his body directly unless he's dead." Cecilia opened her eyes wide. "Y-you mean... Necromancy?" "Technically, letting him roam on the world after bringing him here is already Necromancy. But after he truly dies, I will be able to use him completely," Andrius said. And that was what Andrius did. He went out of his way, breaking another natural law to make his way to the world. He made sure to watch them closely, picking up the best time when they were the most off guard.

She panted softly as she yelled out the word and made a sharp look at Helen. "Let's do this then" Jenna gave the Ball back to Helen, went to her room and came back moments later with some candles and an old book. Helen dropped the Ball right beside her feet, placed the candles in a circular form and lit them. "Get in the circle. It's time to feel some powers" Jenna got in the circle, Helen grabbed the book and got in the circle also. She opened the book to page 179 which talks about a spell called Necromancy and they both sat down.

"I wouldn't say that for sure." "Why? Is there actually a way to increase necro?" "There is, in fact I'm working on that right now." "How?" "It isn't easy, it requires a painstaking and long process of strengthening your soul. it is called soul cultivation." He raised his pointing finger, "Soul cultivation is a process of strengthening your soul in order to utilize the necro inside you better, strengthening your soul will help you control your necros, which will help you become stronger." "Why is that?"

Mo shuddered to think of it. No matter how she thought if it, she knew those dreams were a nasty premonition. She had the first one before they even knew of Morenike's existence. "For the ritual, Makunde had to kill and eat his mother limb from limb. Starting from her insides, and to each of her limbs and finally her head. Finishing the head completed his transformation to a godlike state." Why did the baby always refer to her as it's mother in her dream? She turned in her bed. There was no way that this was good news. She had a very horrible feeling about it.

Nathan raised a brow as if to say it was what every werewolf should know about. "Don't judge me. I have used barely three months in that school when everything started going downhill. And I wasn't taught many things. I only learnt spells shouldn't be cast on school grounds and the forbidden places we shouldn't go to." Also, I learnt how to harness my powers. Even though it was still pretty new to me. "That's fair," Nathan said. "And it's pretty easy to reach the goddess. Just get a personal belonging you are well connected to; use it."

I followed his gaze, and I got a glimpse of the fleeting clouds. “He tried to escape several times and the more he tried to escape, the worse their torture got. Eventually, he stopped trying. That was when I resorted to necromancy, a forbidden class of dark magic. I was weak, I knew it and when I understood no one was coming to help us, I gobbled like a hungry dog on every power I could claw upon in this dark dungeon. The ghosts of the dead were the only overpowering power in this place. I had only read about necromancy in ancient texts, but I applied it for the first time that day.”

Several dozen more had breached the surface with their arms and heads. The Necromancer continued chanting above the magical whirlpool, his voice rising and falling in a haunting cadence as he called forth ever more strands of black magic. With the nearest graves already claimed by the spell, the magic was forced to flow farther and farther into the cemetery seeking out new remains to animate.

By killing powerful people of one nation and making sure there is much birth in another, chances of reincarnation of powerful souls are higher in the latter. Dystopia used to be the place of dwelling for necromancers. Necromancers were like the rest of other magic practitioners. However, their magic ability was heavily focused on the spells that involves communication with the dead. Necromancy is done either by summoning the dead by apparitions or raising them bodily. It could be for the purpose of divination, imparting the means to foretell future events, discover hidden knowledge, to bring someone back from the dead, or to use the dead as a weapon.
