She asked with suspicion lingering in her eyes. “I… I think our Alpha mentioned it.” I lied, rattling out. “He didn’t.” She shook her head. “Well, he just did. Let’s go prepare.” I scurried away from her before she bantered me with questions. I had to be careful of the way I predicted things. The Omegas were the lowest-ranking servants in the pack and we were the ones in charge of organizing the field for Steven’s welcome banquet. I returned to the venue to take a final look at it before the event time, the canopies were in the right place including the chairs, tables, and food sets.

I wanted to leave but my feet feel so heavy right now. The entire area was enveloped with silence until an old man in a white robe entered inside. The attention of all shifted to him. "Stop! I am glad I made it in time. What is going on here?" his intimidating voice resonated in the crown and resulted in an uproar. The Moon Goddess tilted her mouth to speak. "This is the mating ball and your son has gotten a mate and she is standing next to me!" He gave us a very intimidating look. "This is so damn ridiculous! How come, my son, is fated with a cursed Omega? She has a blood of a witch running through her veins. The last witch alive! They are our mortal enemy!"

This motherfucker is getting officially engaged next week, and last night he was letting me tie him to his own couch while he stayed buried inside me. Magnus stepped forward, towering over me. “This is a mistake,” he said, his voice cold. “You are an Omega, and you can’t be their mate.”

Belinda boldly met his gaze. Draven's lips tilted to the side. "You'll have what you want." An hour later, Belinda entered the underground garage of the skyscraper to meet an auburn-haired man leaning on an SUV. He brought down the lit cigarette from his lips as she approached, exhaling smoke through his nose. "Where to mam?" His tone was sarcastic as he pulled open the door to the car's driver seat. Belinda was an omega who had found favor with the boss by spreading her legs—she hardly expected the hard men of the Lycan's mafia to respect her. That said, it would be to her benefit if they at least didn't dislike her.

I opened the door to find a woman wearing a purple dress and was accompanied by someone. "Who are you supposed to be and what are you doing here?" She pushed me and entered the house and I was so tempted to just leave this house and never come back. The collar on my neck still stands and I can’t open it. A collar is a mark of ownership, especially for an omega. When an omega wears a collar that usually means that they belong or are claimed by someone. There was a sharp decline in the population of omegas in the recent decade. That’s why the government revised the laws and eliminated some of them which weren’t in favour of the omegas.

he reminded him. "It can be revived if I can get an omega" Haynes explained further. "Which you were unable to find after searching many communities of werewolves for years. Or are you planning to send me to the werewolves so that I could get bitten and become a 'floater' like you?" Sergeanti laughed hysterically. He had discovered his plans. Haynes was a very dubious dishonest and wicked wizard. "No, you don't need to go and search for any werewolves because an omega is lurking in Greenford right now" Haynes ascertained.

Her decision wouldn't change anything. "Let's celebrate my son's newly found mate. Finding your own mate is a thing of joy." Alpha Vincent said, baring his teeth as he spoke. The goddess had disgraced his lineage by granting him an omega for his son as a mate. And quickly, the feast began all over again. But this time, it was filled with more gossip on how the omega must have cast a spell on Lucas. Bella turned around, about to walk out. She could not remain in this acidic place. The feast turned out to be the worst feast she has ever encountered.
