I returned the book from the bookshelf it was taken from. While walking out of the library, I couldn't help but go back to what I had read. After the war, some vampires started to kill humans. It was not enough for them to drink blood from people, they killed people indiscriminately. The world leaders complained, but the purebloods turned a blind eye to everything. So, in retaliation to that, the world leaders created the Hunters Association. It was a group of humans highly trained to kill supernatural beings.

The woman is still sound asleep, I undress her, i need her dress, as mine tore when i shifted, i bite her neck and drain as much blood as quickly as I can. I bite my wrist and put it to her mouth just so she heals and no one knows she was killed by a vampire, I then get Nova to dig a hole, bury her and put her dress on. This is it, I need to find my mate, I head back toward the town and pick up his scent, following it away from the town. I travel until dawn, I'm getting tired, I need to rest, but Nova is getting antsy, this tells me my mate is near, she is running circles in my head.

The intense light magnified the pulsing of her blueish veins beneath her white skin. Her thick, pouty lips parted as her long tongue licked the blood from Agatha’s flesh. An involuntary shudder of revulsion by the witch caused the vampire to laugh out loud. “Oh I do hope Corey wins you.
