Or are you gonna make me watch one of your action movies?” He chuckled, his nerves jangling. “Something better,” he said, leading her through the house, bypassing the big living room. “Come out back first. She hadn’t wanted to come back but when your aunt goes missing and leaves behind a house full of old debts and older secrets, you show up. Scarlet's POV I started with cleaning the hallways this morning. I didn't want to have any awkward encounters with the Alpha and his friends. I was sure they were still sleeping. It was still very early so most of the pack members were sleeping except for those on patrol. Chapter 6 It was Thanksgiving morning. I struggled to get the Barbie house into my car as I headed over to Beths. I told the girls to come out for a surprise from Mr. Jason. I took out my cell phone and video taped their excitement. They screeched with joy, jumped up and down, and could not contain their excitement. I sent a quick text, Happy Thanksgiving, and then sent the video to Jason. He responded quickly, “Thank you for sending me this. Happy Thanksgiving to you too.”
