Anne only replied to Jack's words with a glimpse of a smile. Out of Anne's expectation, when they arrived, it turned out that they were not alone. There were about twenty people there. Instead of feeling happy and safe, Anne felt scared and wanted to run away. The reason was because those people wore black robes with pointed hoods that almost covered half of their faces. From their posture, Anne could guess that they were men and women. Lighting torches were planted all around them. And the center of Anne's attention was a giant stone in the shape of an owl.

He laughed hysterically as he found relief that he didn't need to think that much about it now. Luna was gawking at the creature who let loose of a loud guffaw in front of her. It sounded so terrifying. Even with the chilly air and raindrops touching her skin, beads of sweat still managed to form on her arms as panic started to rise in her chest again. "Stand up now Luna." ❇❇❇ Schnek was approaching the laughing Fragado while carrying his capsule. He saw a being on the ground. "A normal?"

I shuddered and fear festered into me more as the car turned even colder than the AC was already making it. All Enzo needs right now is a horn and hell to rule over because he’s no different from a monster and the devil himself. “Are you scared of me?” He asked, his green eyes boring eyes into every inch of my being. He looked as though he wouldn’t function if I didn’t give him an answer. “Enzo,” I muttered, swallowing as I dared myself to not look away from him, “scared is what I get whenever I see a roach or a reptile, what I feel for you, Enzo, is greater.”

I breathed, cheeks flaming as Noah watched the entire scene with quiet amusement. Zedekiah kissed the side of my neck once more, then pulled away. “Be good while I’m gone.” He gave my ass one final squeeze and disappeared down the hall. I buried my face in my hands, mortified. Noah chuckled. “He doesn’t scare you as much anymore, does he?” I peeked through my fingers. “He still terrifies me. But… not in the same way.” Noah’s expression grew thoughtful. “That’s how it starts. Fear becomes something else. Something more dangerous.”

The creepiest part was that there was a faint red glow in its dark eye sockets, making it seem extremely creepy. Luna could not help but grab Alex’s hand. Her palm was slightly sweating as she said, “Don’t be afraid, isn’t this just a dead skeletal ghost? My sister is an expert ghost hunter, and I’ve seen this kind of thing many times.” Alex could feel the sweat in her palm. He said, “Don’t shake your hand when you speak. Otherwise, it will betray your inner fear.” “My fear? You really know how to spew nonsense!” Luna took out the Sky-Devil Zither from her mind palace and was ready to attack.

“Were you not listening when I told you what I do when I am lonely? So you see? I am best option when it comes to surviving out here.” As they walk past the half body, Mizuko tiptoed. The inside of a creature and the blood is indeed scarier and disgusting in person than what you see on screens. Kenshi is scary. He hides something in him, she could feel like he is hiding a quantity of emotions and strength. How could he trick her earlier? She thought she was going to die! “I am sorry when I called you traitor. It wasn’t noticeable that it was just an act.” But he deserves it for scaring me, Mizuko thought.

The chirps of bird beasts flying over their heads should’ve broken the silence that appeared when they left the park, but the atmosphere between them is just too thick for anything to pierce through. Kiyo glanced at her cute cousin who was carelessly leaning on the shoulder of this person whom she now labelled as ‘the scary guy’. The little girl looked sleepy and didn’t feel aware at all that the guy who was holding her had just threatened to kill her. Kiyo was worried that he would really kill Shitone, because if that happens, she would… She would really die. There will be no more Shitone. There will be no more little sister. But I hope she was safe. Niko placed the laptop on the bed and selected a movie for us. He handed me a drink and he took a slice of pizza. The movie was a horror genre, but the scenes never scared me. My life was a horror nightmare as well, so I could say I was immune to it.
