— Yes… didn’t you know your wife’s body well? He nodded: — Naomi had no scar behind her ear. Nelly said calmly: — That was my proof. She rose lightly and moved toward an old record player in the corner of the room: — My God… it looks very old, but it’s interesting. She placed a record on it, turned it on, switched off the harsh white light, and turned on a warm yellow glow. Outside, the beach was quiet, the sky clear and studded with stars, and the air cool. The cry of a black bird echoed above the chalet—a crow, most likely—its voice blending with the roar of the waves.

Julie stated. “Of course. I’m Leah, and I have worked various roles in my working career. Most of them have been within data inputting and admin type roles. Over the years through various roles, I have undertaken additional work to help others along with also studying a business degree through work for business admin. Personally, I have moved away from home and back again a couple of times depending on my personal circumstances. All except one. A face that glared at me with a conceited smile. She had waited for this moment, she had waited to look me in the eyes with a calculative stare. Shania, drapes in a red polkadot gown and a black cashmere trenchcoat hanging over her shoulders. She let her ginger hair fall over shoulder with a braid at the two ends of her frontal. “Finally, we thought you were gonna have to cancel this meeting,” She smiled as though our argument yesterday never happened, like this was the first time we were speaking in months.

"Of course, we all know that Nolan holds a special place in your heart within this group." At that moment, one of the previously quiet men coughed and interjected, "That's enough." Hailey looked at the man who spoke up, and their gazes met. For some reason, she thought he smiled at her. As he was introduced earlier, his name was Nick Coleman, one of the youngest and most influential entrepreneurs in the country. Hailey realized that in her previous life, she hadn't been acquainted with many people. It was only in this life, being married to Nolan, that she began to get to know high-class individuals.

"Yes, I've already prepared the evening dress for you. Would you like to take a look?" "I don't have any time right now. It's fine as long as you are ready. Oh! Tonight, I must go to negotiate with the Coleman Group." "Then you have to dress up prettier tonight. Ms. Naomi, Mr. Coleman is interested in you!" "Waylon Coleman is so cunning. He wants to use this chance to force me to become his girlfriend." "Then Ms. Naomi, do you want to do that?"

Harvey said as he sat on one of the kitchen stools. "Of course not. Please, come in," I said, still slightly annoyed at the lack of recognition. "So, what’s your name and where did you meet Cole?" he asked, genuinely curious. "I’m Nicola. I teach Cole’s daughter. I’m a kindergarten teacher. That’s where we met," I told him as he nodded along. "Oh, that’s a nice meet-cute," he said as I poured him a cup of coffee and placed it in front of him. "Thank you."

Mike Freeway wasn't the only man in Coal City with a nose for fast money. Joe Collins—just as well recognized in the back room's smoky atmosphere as J. Cole—had a gift for smelling opportunity where other men smelled gunpowder. Tall, dark, and patient, Cole lived on very little. His greasy black hair clung to his skull, his pencil-line moustache curled into a snarl, and his chin, shadowed blue from the previous night's shaving, was rarely tobacco-stained.

She smirked and asked, "Mom, Aunt Sherah, who is this?" Carmela forced out a smile and replied, "Oh, forgive me! I forgot to introduce you. This is your cousin Celena's husband, Liam! He's the only surviving member of the Cole family, but he hasn't made a name for himself. He's married into the Stones and hangs around doing nothing all day."
