Nicholas replied while busy playing mobile games on his cellphone. Nicholas has no place to stay because he doesn't have a family anymore so he just decided to go to Alice's hospital room so he could at least sleep peacefully before going to the resthouse early in the morning tomorrow. The other associates booked a motel room while some went to their homes to stay for the night. "How about Basty? Where is he?" Nicholas shrugged his shoulder. "I don't know. Do I look like someone who knows the whereabouts of missing people?" Alice rolled her eyes. "You like eavesdropping and knowing people's shit. Surprisingly, you don't know where Sebastian and Vladimir go."

He Comes to the Gate Lucas's POV Nicholas came to the gate on a Thursday. He walked up the main approach road in broad daylight with no escort, wearing ordinary clothes and carrying nothing visibly threatening. Shannon, running the northern perimeter, spotted him from three hundred metres and linked Alena immediately. Alena linked me. I was at the gate before he reached it.

"Really? You'd do that for me?" Nicholas nodded, his smile growing softer. "Of course. I want to share this place with you to show you all the things I love about it." Nicholas led Sarah to the horse stable, where they saddled up two horses, Luna and a majestic black stallion named Thunder. As they rode out of the stable, Nicholas smiled, feeling a sense of nostalgia wash over him. "Where are we headed?" Sarah asked, her hair blowing in the wind. "One of my favorite childhood spots," Nicholas replied, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "It's a little deep in the forest, but trust me, it's worth it."

Nicolas stood up from his lying position and peeked from the tower to look down at the deserted part of the beach. The sudden faint sound of a female crying for help startled Nicholas as that was the first time he heard any other person's voice at that place except his own. He used to think that part of the beach was so deserted that most of the people didn't even know about its existence and it was also far away from locality and city so basically hearing girls' voices at that hour of night was totally unexpected for Nicholas. Though that part of the area was famous for small cases of loot and stealing but never experienced something like that before. Except the loud sound of of the police

Nicholas went to his house, disappointed. He slept alone for that night and the night after that. But on the third day, he was determined to find Shiloh. He was directed to her house,which was five streets, south from the brothel. He did not even need to knock, Sheila was watering her plant's. The house was very small. "Shiloh,my love." Said Nicholas. "Who told you that I live here?" She asked. "My love I came to apologize."

Although in this case, he would be taken unaware. Nora, with trembling hands, put the call on speaker. The room was so silent one could hear a pin drop as everyone listened. Nicholas's phone was off! ********* Nicholas stood at the bank of a river on the outskirts of the city of London with a bottle of alcohol in his hand. He took a sip of the drink as his mind wandered back to what had happened the previous day.

His words have both of us laughing so hard that for a moment I forget everything that is going on around us and it feels so good, so needed. "Warrior Robbie. How can I help you?" A strange voice brings my laughter to an immediate stop as a guy comes to stand in front of us. He's incredibly tall and muscular and looks like he could scare even the meanest of wolves. "Yes, Johnathan. Alpha Nicholas is in the gym. He has asked for some privacy but I would like you to guard the door while he's in there. There's too much shit going on right now for him to be left unguarded."

I know they could smell me, too, as I heard Nicholas tell them to stand down. I slowed down as I came out of the woods. I looked over the wreck as I walked up to Nicholas. I saw a pile of dead bodies on the side of the road, and my rage got even hotter. My energy was waning, and I knew I needed to feed. I could feel my body growing tired. “Nathaniel, I’m sorry. I guess you felt Dominique’s death, and it brought you here,” Nicholas said as I reached him. I just looked at him, not understanding. Dominique wasn’t dead. Why would he think that? Obviously, they hadn’t found her body, so it couldn’t be that.

“World hunger starts somewhere, Nicholas.” His vision blurred for a second. The memory hit too hard. He took a slow breath. Steady. Controlled. Or at least pretending to be. Nicholas Rhodes did not go back inside. But he didn’t leave either. He stepped into the shadow of a closed bookstore across the street and stood there. Still. Silent. Watching. If anyone had passed by, they would have mistaken him for a man waiting for someone. And he supposed, in a way, he was.
