Zeno watched as the guards opened the entrance without question; he immediately understood that Nicholas was a frequent visitor. "Thank you, Mr. Nicholas," Zeno said. He immediately opened the door and started walking toward the house. "Hey! Wait," Nicholas grabbed Zeno's arm from behind. "Ouch!" He hoped she couldn't see through him and guess what his real reason for staying was. Gerald smiled. He could tell at a glance that North was nervous. However, he did not call her out on it. “Nicholas is the Sherman family’s heir. He owns a racecourse, and I have two invitations to it. Let me take you riding and have some fun?” North nearly choked from all that she held back. She had already been preparing for Gerald to interrogate her. She did not expect that he would suggest taking her out horse riding.
