The screen showed Yale’s name, repulsing him. Nicholas did not want to get involved with Yale, but he was not yet established in Jangasas. He could not offend any forces easily. With the support of the Hamertons, he would be able to build himself up, whether it was in Centrolis or Jangasas. Nicholas heaved a long sigh and picked up the call just when the other end of the line was about to lose his patience. As expected, Yale complained the moment the line was connected, “What are you doing answering after so long?! Do you f*cking want to die!?”

Nicholas ordered food ahead of time so they wouldn't have to wait once they arrived. The place Nicholas had is a simple mansion in the middle of the suburbs and the city. It stood atop the tall mountain surrounded by the forest while below the mountain are the bustling streets of the city. Nicholas held the car door open for Zane meanwhile Zane took her purse and Nicholas’s smartphone with her so Nicholas wouldn’t have to take two trips back.

“You knew what he was capable of. You knew what he was going to do to destroy my entire life yet due to your selfish reasons and obviously love for money you gave me away. LUCIANO ST. AUGUSTINE HOSPITAL –11:47 PM The night smelled like damp asphalt and cigarettes. A light drizzle coated the streets, the neon glow from the hospital sign flickering in the reflection of the pavement.
