As I awoke screaming at the monsters attacking me, Nick and Kover hovered over me, pressing and pinning me to the bed. They felt their hunger fade away as they drained Charlotte's body of blood. Still, every time he gives me control, I wash everything off, scrubbing my skin until it is red.
