I looked up and my stomach dropped. Aziel Nightbane. The monster himself. His golden eyes burned down at me with pure hate. Up close he smelled like blood and smoke and something darker that made my wolf stir. “Who are you running from boy?” he growled. His voice was low and rough like gravel under boots. His grip tightened on my arm hard enough to bruise. I gasped for air and forced words out even though my throat felt tight. “Please. I am nothing. Just a slave omega. Let me go and I will disappear. You will never see me again I swear it.”

“I didn’t get the chance to thank you.” Her breath shook. “Thank me? You kissed me without my permission,” she whispered. “You scared me. And now—now you’re here? Why? What do you want from me?” The corner of his mouth tilted, almost amused. “So you know who I am.” “You’re Adriano Greco,” she said, her voice trembling. “The monster people talk about.” He took another step closer. “Monster?” he repeated softly. “That’s what they call me?”

I grabbed my bag and my shoes, not even bothering to put them on before I ran out of the arena. … I went home that night and cried myself to sleep. Why couldn’t things just go back to normal? I watched as the monster hover to my child and in a split second, it devoured my child as I struggle to be free. "No!" I screamed out, jolting my body awake. My phone alarm suddenly went on, telling me its time to get ready to go to school. Sweat is dripping down my forehead. My body is still trembling from the nightmare I just had.

I took a very deep breath before I closed my eyes tightly and when I opened them again we were in my room back at my own house. "AHH!!!" I yelled the moment I saw the most hideous monster hovering over my brother who seemed to be in a very deep sleep. "Scott you have to wake up. Scott!!" I screamed so loudly but my brother didn't move an inch as the monster got closer to him. He couldn't hear me and neither could the monster. "Mia what is going on? Why can't my brother hear anything? Mia please do something I am begging you" I cried as I slumped on the floor. I felt helpless. It had such huge horns and sharp long teeth that were so long it reached the floor.
