This is where I die. As the wolves prepared to strike, I braced myself for the end. The forest seemed to hold its breath, the moonlight casting dancing shadows like specters. But just as the lead wolf lunged, everything shifted. The scene began to blur and fade. Scream, Morticia commanded. Scream like you did that night. I opened my mouth and let out a piercing scream—not of physical pain, but of pure, soul-deep anguish. The sound tore from my throat, raw and desperate, echoing through the vision until it shattered like glass.

Over and done with. I almost believe it as exhaustion hits me and I yank off my jeans and crawl under the covers. I’m ready for today to be over. Sleep eventually comes, but it doesn’t bring me the reprieve I so desperately need. Instead, I get a string of insanely vivid dreams of me fucking Nora in every way I can think of. I wake up even more miserable, a thing I hadn’t thought possible.

Malix A familiar screamof rage barrels through my dreams. I wake up in the space of a split second and rocket out of bed, still half asleep even as adrenaline surges through me. "Y– yes it was just a nightmare" he said rubbing his face. It has been a while since he had that one, Danté realised no matter how much time passed it was edged into his mind like stone carvings. A loud high pitched scream echoed through the castle suddenly as Vladimir and Jonathan were speaking. “AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!” The scream came again, but louder. "Ahhhh." I wake up screaming in the middle of the night like in those scary horror movies. A thundering heart, the familiar smell of sweat, the vivid images of a nightmare that refuses to fade. The hair that sticks to my neck like tiny creeping claws are peeled away by my trembling fingers. When I widrew them in the night lights, they are dyed in deep crimson, nails dripping fresh blood. I was wrong to fall asleep. A whimper leaves my lips and I fumble off the bed heading to the bathroom.

I hear a distant high-pitched scream "Stop it, Cosmo suffered a trauma and is injured!!!" "He deserves to die!" I choke feeling the blood suffocate me, a hand gently turns my head to the side and I let the liquid accumulate on the floor. I open my eyes with extreme effort and see Azazel trying to keep his father away from me. "What is happening?" Yesenia asks and slowly helps me to my feet. "Cosmo is having sex with our daughter and cheating on us under our very eyes!" Yesenia looks at me in alarm and shock "Get that man out of my way!" Axel disappears into the office and knocks on the door so hard the sound reverberates throughout the house.

She grabbed my shoulders shaking them. “What the actual hell Nia!” she screamed loud enough for the entire building or country to hear her. “Shhh.” I said placing a hand over her mouth. “We have neighbours.” I reminded her. “Fuck them.” She said practically bouncing in her seat. “Don’t get so excited. It’s been hell since.” I confessed. She stopped bouncing her expression turning dark. “Explain.” She urged.

I scream that they may have tattooed me, but I’m not one of them and I don’t want to go on anymore stupid missions. It works better than I hoped. Carden doesn’t stop by for days on end leaving me with my nightmares. They become stronger with each passing day. I wake up breathless. I wake up crying. I wake up with my fists clenched to the point of having bloody nail marks dug into my palms. I wake up with a scream. And then I don’t wake up at all.
