SKYLER’S POV After falling asleep thinking about my mother, I wake up the next morning from a restless sleep. I didn’t get more than an hour’s sleep at a time due to my nightmares. I haven’t had the nightmare about the rogue that killed my mum for nearly four years, but last night he kept coming back. The difference with last night’s nightmares was that each time I woke and then went back to sleep, the rogue kept changing, first one was of the original stinky brown rogue, in the next one the rogue was my dad attacking me, then it was James. In each nightmare, the rogue changed and I would wake up just before they killed me, as in my dreams there is no one there to save me. The next one was E

​The sky didn’t tear; it unzipped. It was a surgical, clinical sound—the noise of a high-end garment being opened by a cold, metallic hand. The perfect blue of the 401st Chapter, the sky Kael had sacrificed his very existence to paint, was being peeled back to reveal a grid of glowing violet neon and sterile white light. ​"Nora, get to the Cradle!" Elia screamed, her voice cracking as the peaceful meadow began to vibrate with the hum of a thousand synchronized engines.

To lessen his impact, the Nightmare Master put him to sleep, forcing him to use his frequencies to spy on people, among other things. Frequency runs every bit of technology you see, from the nightmare eye in the sky to even everyday devices that people use. He controls every bit of it, but even with all that control, he's not in control. The Nightmare Master forced him into a coma and hid him in the middle of Nightmare Land so he could use his frequencies. He gets released like us, but it's not exactly the same. He's still stuck in a coma, but he's able to use his frequencies however he wants during the month he's free.

Skyr then reached out to grab one of my hands on the table and gave it a reassuring squeeze. I could feel butterflies doing summersaults at the pit of my stomach at the gesture that I had to fight to urge to pull my hand away. “It’s...It’s just…” I turned to look at Skyr, feeling vulnerable as I admitted my nightmares, “I’m scared that everyone would die if I fail. I keep having these dreams about Silisk killing...you guys. And now I keep having these thoughts that Silisk might not be the one to…” I trailed off as I could no longer bring myself to finish the sentence.

She doesn't like feeling weak. “Exactly. I am the Alpha of Nightmares. What is a common thing of nightmares?” he asked, his tone taking on a sinister quality as he leaned closer, claws starting to dig into my skin. “They are dark and terrifying?” I arched an eyebrow doing my best to maintain my bravado. I would not whimper for him. He obviously gets off on that shit.

The next day David woke up early since it was Saturday he had nowhere to go. He He decided to go and check up on Stella and admit his feelings for her. He decided to stop being a coward and take responsibility for her pregnancy. He was ready to do anything for her to forgive him and give him a second chance. He went to her door and was about to knock when he heard her talking but this time it seems like her constant nightmare she always tell him about. There’s a screaming storm surrounding it and flashes of red, demonic lightning. But I see it, clear as day. So cautious, afraid, and hopeful, I reach a hand toward it. I summon Neron, collecting all the power I can. I reach. I imagine killing that pulsing darkness. My hands glow blue and brilliant. And the second I touch it, my brain is filled with screams, a howling storm of rage. And everything goes dark.

The sound coming from a horror film behind me battered when the thunder strike with the high volume that even the next building can be disturb. "Go to bed now," I commanded and closed the Tv. "Party pooper, the best scene was yet to come!" "I'm not sleepy!" And they started complaints, but in the end, they still follow me and eventually go to their room. I left a note besides Nate to take care of everything while I'm at work. I choosed to walked instead to use my scooter this time, the nighttime in the city is beautiful opposite from the morning, morning is a curse. I hid my hand inside the pocket of my hoodie and starts distracting myself.

"What could be worse than ancient vampires?" Elder Sarah looked at me with eyes that were full of fear. "The end of everything," she said. Just then, one of the younger pack members came running up to us. "Beta Elias!" he said, breathing hard. "Elder Sarah! You need to come quickly!" "What's wrong?" I asked. "There's something wrong with the sky," he said. "Look!" I looked up, and what I saw made my heart stop. The sky was changing. What had been normal blue was now streaked with red and black. And in the distance, toward the town where Noah and Daisy were, the sky was completely dark. Not night-dark.
