Night wind whipped around Nyra as she stood at the base of the ancient mountain, its black crags looming like a jagged crown against the starless sky. The infernal brand on her palm throbbed with each heartbeat, a constant reminder of Imreth’s cruel bargain. Caelum’s lifeless form and Ryker’s groans echoed in her memory, she would not fail them again.

Something was definitely brewing there. Finally, we pulled into a gravel lot. I leaned forward, trying to see what this “spontaneous” adventure was. “Is that what I think it is?” I asked slowly, staring at the dilapidated structure ahead. He didn't say anything; instead, he rolled his eyes and proceeded to shower. ------ Jodie awoke in her bed at seven o'clock in the morning. She peered out the window, her gaze drawn to the sunlight beyond the apartment. She was surprised at how lovely the environment was, but she saw that the beauty of the world seemed to be the polar opposite of her existence. She abruptly closed the curtain and prepared to leave her room.

I asked, squinting my eyes trying to get a glimpse of the stranger. “Oh please I know more than your name bunny, I know everything about you” he said taking two more steps. “So you are a stalker then, how long have you been stalking me?” I panicked as I took more steps back. “I’m not a stalker bunny, I’m your nightmare” the voice said and just like the wind he disappeared into the shadows like he was never there, my heart sank into my stomach as his last words echoed in my head. “Absolute Darkness: Evasive Killing” Using nothing but his hand, Mane sliced through the man’s neck like it was butter and a fountain of blood was opened. Before the headless corpse could even touch the ground, Mane had activated Star Flicker again, and he was out of sight. “Watch your backs!” Nasir screamed, but his warning came a second too late. For another headless figure was falling to the ground. Mane didn’t dally and moved to the last Low Level Nightmare. And he too was killed without being able to muster any resistance.

Third Person POV Livie is dragged out of the dungeon by a guard and Gunther, followed by Skylar and his dad, alpha Noah Morrison. Her body is filled with bruises, blood, and evidently a few broken bones. Though Skylar can care less about what has happened to her, he is pissed off. She is supposed to leave tomorrow morning as one of the peace offerings to the Dark Moon. If things don't work out accordingly, he and his dad will not be able to talk the Dark Moon alpha into protecting them.

Seras just laughs (bright, sharp, perfect). Seras: “No promises.” Remy puts the truck in drive. “Just close your eyes, it will be a long journey, so take a rest, alright.” With a weak smile, Sky nodded her head, “I’ll try.” She dozes off and thankfully falls asleep, as fatigue begins to creep into her. Sky felt so tired, physically and mentally, as her eyes dropped, she could hear the three Alphas having a discussion, something about plan B. When she opens her eyes, she looks into a flowing curtain with a window half open, revealing the moonlight. She is already back at Crimsonite mansion. “You’re awake, thank the Moon Goddess.” Said a concerned voice from the other corner of the bed.
