KIERAN ~Few Hours Earlier~ Thunder growls low in the distance, the sound crawling into Kieran’s awareness like an unwelcome intruder as he lie still beneath the tangled sheets. However, his eyes twitch frantically behind his closed eyelids and his breathing uneven. The nightmare is back with a vengeance. It’s stronger this time, darker even. The darkness shifts and gives way to a landscape of utter devastation. The sky looms heavy and bruised, swirling with storm clouds that seem ready to collapse under their own weight – above the scorched ground littered with bodies of human and beasts twisted into grotesque shapes, their final moments frozen in agony.

Exhausted and frustrated, she finally decided to get some rest, hoping that sleep would bring clarity. That night, she was plagued by unsettling dreams. The shadowy realm of Nyxterra reappeared in her sleep, its endless twilight sky and eerie silence wrapping around her like a shroud. In the dream, she wandered through the desolate landscape, calling out for Elias, but the shadows swallowed her voice, leaving her isolated and lost.

Sky ordered the waiter to inform Iris and Emily to come to his room . The waiter went and within two minutes they were in Sky's room . " Why did you call us ? " said Emily who had wore a facial beauty mask . Iris had her headphones on . " Have you forgotten how old you are , idiot ?! It's a shame to see that beauty mask on your skin ! Plus we're vampires and don't need that stuff ! " said Sky with an indifferent look . " What the ... you better not comment my skin and you're the idiot ! Should I remind you that you're two hundred years older then I am ! " said Emily angry.

Through the glass ceiling of the subterranean chamber, a massive, holographic projection of the night sky flickered to life, fed by the city's exterior cameras. The orange glow of the burning Destroyer was gone. The stars were gone. The sky was completely, utterly black, blocked out by a shape so massive it defied comprehension. The Nullity had arrived. making planetfall?

And they were already bleeding. The world seemed to hold its breath as Veyra struggled to her feet, her mates bracing her on either side. The night air, once crisp and cool, now hung heavy with the stink of blood and scorched earth. Somewhere, wolves howled—mournful and broken. Veyra lifted her gaze toward the horizon. A pulsing black light illuminated the distant mountains, throbbing like a second, dying heart. That was where Nyros was. That was where the true nightmare waited.

She continued speaking with her Aunts about the funeral for her Grandmother as I just stood there, holding her and listening quietly. Colton approached a moment after me and look nervous but stood next to Skye. He reached over and wrapped his arm around her shoulders to pull her to his side. Like me, he kept silent as they finished their plans. Once they were done, Saga just looked at the four of us for a moment and then chuckled. "What?" Skye asked. "I would have never in my wildest dreams seen this coming. You with an Alpha. Kitty with the future Alpha. All of us with a pack that includes Vampires. It's just surreal." Saga laughed.

My Nightmare Natty's POV It was morning already and last night was a long night. I never knew he was that insatiable.I lot count as to how many times we did it. Thinking about it, I smiled. I looked over to him and smiled more. He was still sleeping like a baby. I tried standing up but I felt pain in my thighs. I tried again but I just groaned.
