Jess sat up right and once more it was pitch black, that’s when jess understood what this was. “My nightmares.” Jess whispered, her voiced echoed in the darkness, but it was as if Jess had just said the key for everything to explode. Every single one of her bad memories, jumped out of the dark, young Jess sitting with her dead mother, trying to clean her wound, hoping she will wake up if Jess just keeps pressure on it. Her Father chasing her, beating her, screaming at her. Her beast tormenting her once again. All the Jess’s, the young ones or the older ones, each one of them that cried out in pain as they were being cut, burned or beaten, each Jess that was ever told how she should just die,

I stood up, backing into the shadows behind me, and instantly the Nightmare Eyes surged forward, looking for me. It's the first thing I've done anything besides destroying one of them, so they had to watch me do it, which is exactly what I wanted. My illusions come from my imagination, an ability a lot like the long last nightmare Lord Imagery. Except for mine can't come to life. That doesn't matter, though. If people think they are real, then they're real when they see them. I let my eyes flutter Closed imagining that the structure I was standing on shifted to the opposite side.

His eyes rolled back, and he fell into a deep, immediate sleep. In his nightmare, he stood in an endless void. On each finger of his outstretched hands, he balanced a glowing orb. Each orb contained a swirling galaxy, teeming with life. As he watched, horrified and mesmerized, one orb slipped from his grasp. It didn’t fall; it unmade. The galaxy within winked out of existence without a sound, as if it had never been. A profound, cosmic grief filled him.

“People say Phantasms blur the line between reality and desire. That’s why they fear us.” A chill slid down Seraphine’s spine. “You make nightmares for fun?” Lyra tilted her head. “Nightmares… dreams… fantasies. Whatever someone hides in their head, Phantasms can bring it to life. We don’t just make illusions, we make people feel them.” Seraphine’s mouth went dry. She wasn’t sure if she wanted to lean closer or back away. “See?” Caleb clapped her on the shoulder. “Now you know. One shadow crawler, one storm-bringer, one walking dream machine. We’re a pretty good welcome committee, don’t you think?”

Chapter 14. Angela has a dream where she's tied to a tree surrounded by blue water, she looks down at the water but she sees a different person as her reflection, a more powerful and stronger female that looks like her, but she could swear it wasn't her. Her reflection looked more lively, happy , chubby and refreshed. She paused for a second to notice if anything would happen to her reflection, but it was still there staring right in the face. Angela became even more scared, because she had never seen such a thing before. How can a reflection or shadow be more healthier than the person who owns the reflection?
