A rough voice shouted from behind. I stopped and turned. Nico was storming toward us, his face dark, his eyes desperate. "Wait." He was out of breath. "I need to talk to you." Lucas's face went cold. "Mr. Falcone, I believe we're done here." "No." Nico shook his head, his eyes locked on me. "Aurora. Five minutes." I looked at Lucas. "It's okay," I said softly. "Let him talk." Lucas nodded but didn't move far. He leaned against the Rolls-Royce, his black eyes watching Nico's every move.

"I'm sorry." I stood there with the phone in my hand and the coffee going cold on the counter. "Set the meeting," "Niko—" "Set it Dmitri." I took deep breaths to calm myself down. “Just set the meeting.” I hung up and stood there for a long moment then I got a piece of paper and a pen and started writing.

My nightclothes shrunk, morphing into a sky-blue bikini the same shade as Nox’s eyes. I couldn’t help but notice how little skin it covered, and wondered if that was mere coincidence.
