You ingested five to six doses and that could accelerate your death” he grinned.

Bob holds on tightly to the bone spider’s large back and continues to stab its weak points with David’s sharp bone knife. Eventually, the bone spider stops moving as Bob manages to pierce its head by hitting a weak point on the skull. The bone spider falls flat on its body as Bob drives the knife deeper.

Alexia stared at them desperately and pulled back Scott's shirt so they could see the bite. "You're from here, right? What is this? He thinks it was a spider. Is that true? How do I help him?" I shook my clothes with effort, but softly; trying to get whatever was crawling inside my clothes to come off without raising an alarm. And then it came off. But it landed on my arm. And when I saw the brown hairs standing on end; with four eyes looking up at me, eight legs spread out on my hand, and its body that was the size of mother's comb. I screamed again. Foolishly. But I felt only half guilty. Because it was a Spider. It was a Tarantula. I screamed louder. And shoved it away, sending it flying into the darkness, then shot my hands to my mouth again. Now cursing myself. For screaming. Twice.

Standing by with her hands covering her chest, she reached out to grasp the leg that Spider Queen used to attack her and forcefully snapped it at once. The spider screamed in pain in an instant. It glared at the Dodge Tomahawk, its eight enraged compound eyes flashing with red light. It shrilled, and then its mouth moved, as if something was going to spurt out of it. Nicole saw the anomaly and quickly bounced backward. The next second, the position where she had just stood a second ago, was hit by the white slime-like substance that shot out of the spider's mouth. The ground was corroded and turned black in an instant.

Becky mused. “They are called giant crab spiders. At school, we were taught they are distantly related to tarantulas, but they have no venom though their bite can hurt humans. They usually live underground and only emerge to hunt at night. It required a great disturbance to make them migrate—a disturbance like the monsoon.”

Jack continued to guide the smaller fireball ahead of Lexi as he ran to catch up to her, flicking his knife out. The tunnel opened up on the sides. As the fire lit the room, small furry spiders lurched forward after them. Lexi jumped over one in her path. As Jack approached, the spider lunged up in the air at him. He swung his arm out in front, the knife jutting from the palm of his hand. It hit the spider in the middle of its eyes. It screamed as the knife crunched and slid into its surface. Small bits of blue blood seeped out of the wound as the spider fell away to the side. Jack continued forward. The other spiders hissed their disapproval and skittered after them.
