When I was done, I took a long time in front of the mirror ensuring that I had gotten everything right. Ivan stirred behind me around six a.m. "Good morning." I greeted him cheerfully. He paused , looking at me as if I had lost my mind before replying to me. I gave him no mind and focused on what I was doing. I drew my hair back into a sleek low ponytail. I knew how much Nicholas loved seeing women with ponytails, but I had to take it down as I noticed a few scars which had not totally disappeared around my temples. I let my hair flow from the center part in its natural soft waves before applying a thin coat of powder to my face.

I’d taken cautious, slow steps, one foot after another, then finally pushed open the door. My breath caught for a moment. My heart stilled. Time stopped. Nora—well, fuck. Nikita was standing, dressed in fishnets and nothing but little star-shaped tapes on her nipples. She had chains glistening on her waist, her hair packed up tight and the end knitted into a pig tail. She looked… terrific.

You’ll thank me later.” In the prep room, an attendant handed them sleek black masks that covered the upper face, leaving the mouth exposed. “Put it on,” Ava said, already fastening hers. Cassia turned it over in her hands. It was cold and smooth and she pressed it to her face and adjusted the strap behind her head. She looked at herself in the mirror on the wall and sighed.

"Just briefly. And I need to find a mask to hide the bruise on my face." In the dressing room, she selected a more elaborate mask than before, one that would better conceal her bruise while still leaving her mouth and jawline exposed. The emerald and gold creation fastened securely, covering from her hairline to the middle of her cheekbones. It wouldn't hide everything, but combined with the dim lighting, it might be enough to avoid immediate questions.

She also covered her lips. Although she didn't cover her entire mouth, she left only a small gap in between her lips. Jonason replied, "I want to use the face mask too." Miley gave him a piece of mask and said, "It's an antioxidant one. It should be suitable for you." "What is 'antioxidant'?" Jonason expressed he did not understand it. Miley said, "It's for anti-aging." Jonason murmured, "Am I very old?"

Nicklaus eyes locked mine, for facts I’ve been feeling a heated stare towards me for a while now. Why was he still around?! I quickly withdrew my gaze back to Lucious and heard him make a shocking request. “Can you take off your mask?” I wasn’t expecting such a direct appeal but then again I expected this much. The theme of wearing a face mask wasn’t to hide my features but to trigger a feeling buried in the depths. Technically speaking since everyone’s on a mask the best bet is to access the physical looks of a person to identify them, so with my face being partially covered when he tries to recognize me he’ll only think of Arya.

We have the suits so we just need a face covering of sorts.” Mason suggested. Not a bad idea. “Maybe Jessy will know someone who could do it.” “Yeah, go find her.” I said dismissively, waving my hand. Mason walked out the office and left me alone with my thoughts.

Today is really an exhausting day, I want to sleep so bad right now, but I have to prepare all of the necessary stuff that we'd be using in the mission. I took my blazer off and placed it on the couch, and went upstairs to my room. I took some of my clothes and the gadgets that I'll need. I took my medical kits and placed them in a small bag. I took my other gadgets, such as an extra laptop, a smartphone with a secured line, an earpiece, and my handguns and flash grenades. We might not need it since we're going undercover at school, but it can still be risky. In a mission like this, anything can go wrong at any time, which is why we can never trust others and sometimes not even ourselves.
