I heard Kevin yell into the phone. “Where’s here?” Jace asked him. “I’ll send you a location,” Kevin said. “And, Jace? Kai’s not invited anymore. He’s a Sinclair, and worse than that, he’s a Council Sinclair.” Kevin ended the call, and Jace looked at me. “I’m sorry, I don’t know why he’s like that,” Jace said, and I smiled at him.

The night wind carries light cold air gliding through the leaves on the tall trees on the forest’s edge. The night covered the woods, making people feel murky to creepy. A man taking his dog for a walk suddenly stopped because he heard the wild Wolf howling. The dog walking in front of the man also increased his vigilance. The dog stood still, and his sharp eyes fixed on the thicket of the forest. "Zen, go home!" The man orders a pet dog. The man knew that the sound of the Wolf howling contained a lot of dangers because normally wolves only live deep in the forest. They rarely get close to the edge of the forest, where humans live.

The man later followed her inside the car. “What’s your name?” he asked her when the driver started igniting the engine. “Ly— Rona. My name is Rona.” There was no reason for her to say her real name since she would only be with this man for one night. He stared at her for a few moments. She was even nervous because he might know that she was lying. But shortly after that, he finally nodded. “I’m Gideon.” He looked straight into her eyes, “and tonight, you are mine.”

I notice that his ears are perked up and he cocks his head as he tries to hear something over by the closet. Making him sit, I crawl out of bed to find out what is making that noise. The closer I come to it, the faster the scratching gets. Scared that it's some kind of animal in the wall, I hesitate because the last thing I need is a rat bite or a bat flying out from somewhere in the dark. I do not really understand how they work.” “The Nocturnal Corp is a private military organization consisting of werewolves and witches and other night creatures. They come together to maintain law and order in the supernatural community. They assign Detectives to each werewolf territory to investigate crime and protect the integrity of the territory they are assigned to protect,” Issa explained. “What of the Alphas? Or you for example, are you not capable of doing that yourself?” I inquired.
